I have worked with a large variety of dog breeds over the years, from Mini-Aussies up to Newfoundlands. Professionally, I've worked at Guide Dogs for the Blind and am currently Head Trainer at Autism Anchoring Dogs, a company that trains giant breed dogs for children living with autism.

Steven Mack was very informative and professional. He took grate care of Bo are 7mounth old German shepherd puppy. Over the 2 weeks he had him for training. When he came back he explained everything very well to us. Bo has made a great turn around thanks to Stevens training. Recommend him to anybody with dog issues.

Sara McLoudrey is the owner of Decisive Moment Pet Consulting and has been a professional, positive reinforcement dog trainer for 18 years! I specialize in behavior modification of aggression towards people and dogs, resource guarding, helping senior dogs thrive, and aggression and stress at the groomer or veterinarian. While I specialize in these topics, I see all types of serious behavior cases.

Sara is amazing at what she does. She has tons of experience with some of the most severe behavior cases and is an excellent trainer. Not only that, she’s easy and fun to work with and is entirely committed to positive reinforcement, force free training. When I’ve come to her with a difficult case she’s always got amazing ideas that I hadn’t thought of, and the follow up email she sends after the appointment is clear and thorough. I highly recommend decisive moment pet consulting to any pet professional who wants to take their training and behavior modification services to the next level.

Overall, I've had a really positive experience with this vet clinic and Dr. Connolly in particular. Â My pup is pretty fearful and hates going to the vet, and he has been treated with patience and understanding. Â He can get snippy when he's feeling threatened and I have never felt judged by them, but rather treated with compassion and told that I'm doing a great job caring for him. Â Considering how stressed I am about his behavior and how much time I've put into trying to train him, it's a relief to be acknowledged for that work and not treated like a failed pet parent. Â It's great for him too because the vet understands that he's gone through so much in his short life that it's amazing he's not worse than he is. Â My other favorite thing is that I can email the vet directly and she always responds, often within a day. Â This really saves us from unnecessary stress for my dog, because I don't need to come in to ask a quick question about heartworm meds or whatever else. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because while Dr Connolly is clearly trained in Fear Free methods, I'm not sure the rest of the staff are. Â We recently had an interaction with a new (to us) vet tech and it was not a great experience. Â My pup needed a vaccine and she came in and didn't even acknowledge my dog. Â He was wagging his tail and wanting to say hi but instead of greeting him and letting him get a sniff in, she immediately started preparing the needle. Â At that point, he backed up into a corner and got scared. Â She only got close to him when she needed to put the shot in, and even at that point, she didn't say hi to him. Â I think this made the whole situation more stressful for him because it could've been more positive had she taken a minute or two to get one his level, let him sniff her, etc. Â I think some training for staff on how to be fear free would really help!

Brand new business in the area! We've been waiting for something like this, too! It's reasonable and the facility is clean...and the owner loves dogs! I brought my two dogs there (40 lb terrier mix... and a 12 lb doxipoo) for opening day... and they had a blast. Lots of other dogs to play with, and plenty of space. Wags did a prescreening/interview of each visiting dog. I wasn't at all worried about my little guy getting hurt.
