For those who know me, you know that my dog - Albert - is my family. I am a fairly new dog owner...I got Albert when he was 8 weeks old, and he's now only 13 months. So, I was skeptical about leaving him with anyone. Unfortunately, the demands of my job - long hours, traveling - requires me to send him to daycare or a kennel more often than I'd like to. But The City Dog has now become part of our family. There's no one in this city I trust more than the girls who work there (and Scott, the fabulous groomer!). Don't be scared if you walk in and see a lot of dogs - this is a popular place to be. But these dogs are treated like kings, and each gets personal attention throughout the day. It's affordable, the facilities are clean, and they don't treat owners as just a means to increasing their bottom line. They care about these animals just as much as we do. My little man comes home after, incredibly tired (yay!) and socialized. They've played a huge role in making Albert the great dog he is today. And they've taught me a lot about dog care - I owe them so much and would recommend them to anyone looking for a great place.
