Over the past 30 years, we have trained more than 1 million dogs and their pet parents using our natural communication techniques that dogs understand. I apply the same communication methods - body language and voice control - that dogs follow in their instinctive pack mentality. Justin truly is the San Diego dog whisperer. My wife and I recently decided it was time to search for a private trainer for our 3 year old golden retriever in order to get a handle on some of his bad habits. After looking through yelp, Justin's overwhelming reviews made him the pretty obvious choice. We decided we might as well go with the best if we really wanted to commit to a trainer. The wait was well worth it as after just our first two hour session yesterday, the differences have been night and day. Justin's passion for dogs and helping people learn to properly communicate with their dog was immediately obvious. He truly cares about his techniques being effective long after he leaves. It was so amazing to see how well our dog would respond to us within minutes of learning Justin's exercises for communication. Our amazement only continued to grow once we went outside for leash training. Walks have always been a mix of either being pulled, or needing to pull when the brakes are put on to sniff every smell or lunge toward any passing dog. His leash skills improved quickly yesterday and to our amazement stuck overnight as I was able to easily write this review while walking him..which would have been an impossible task in the past. The exercises to maintain his training take little time at all and we are very much looking forward to having such a well-behaved, responsive dog. We cannot thank Justin enough and would highly recommend him!

Great, Great just great!Prior to taking a much needed trip, I needed someone capable who I could trust to walk my extremely leash reactive german shepherd and upon coming across Dominik I decided to give him a try. I really couldn't be more happier or ask for a more positive experience, the guy is great with dogs, extremely knowledgeable and I did not expect the results I saw with my dog after introducing him to Dominik. He was able to successfully manage and control my dogs reactivity while taking him out for his walks, he instilled corrective techniques and worked with my dog with utmost patience and exhibited a high degree of professionalism. My dog seems to be visibly more happy and his entire demeanor seems to be shifting. I am happy to say that I look forward to many future sessions with Dominique and would 100% recommend him for taking care of your dog no matter their temperament.

Dyese is the absolute BEST! She has a tremendous depth of knowledge with extensive experience in a wide range of training and behavioral situations. She teaches so much more than just sit and stay and educates owners about dogs and proper dog ownership. The program was enjoyable, and I learned a lot from it. Dyese is without a doubt the best trainer that I've ever worked with. Amazing communication. Thanks for being patient, encouraging and inspiring!

I have an Irish Jack Russell Terrier.. Zuzu Gingersnap is an exuberant dog who was well intentioned but jumping on people, and ignoring commands not to mention her running away was wearing very thin. After doing my research I contacted James and he came and offered me a program where Zuzu would become aware of her missteps and be rewarded for positive behavior. I agreed to follow his method, step by step...Yesterday was my last session . Zuzu no longer jumps, comes when called and walks off leash with me. She is a pleasure to be with. James gave me the tools and I utilized them. I highly recommend his services. He is a down to earth individual who really knows " what makes a dog tick." My only regret is I did not utilize his wisdom earlier on...

Get Results NOT Promises We educate dogs of ALL kinds and we train the people who love them! Medical Service Dogs of ALL Types _ Older and Problem Dogs Our Specialty. My name is Bruce Stone and I am a Cornell University Trained animal Behaviorist. Around here, we do things just a "little bit" differently than you're probably used to. AND THAT'S A GOOD THING! Mostly because here at Interdyne International K-9, we are absolutely driven by a Vision to simplify dog training and FINALLY make it fast, FUN and as easy and as understandable as possible for both yourself and for your dog.

Having Toby stay with K-9 was a great experience for the both of us. They picked him up and brought him back which really took a lot of stress out of my work day. They sent pictures and videos as well and even made recommendations for his diet. Toby had a wonderful time and I am very happy to use K-9 again.

A Dog's Way is AMAZING. They care so much about our Dewey! They are incredibly flexible when we need them. Sebastian, the founder, is a brilliant trainer too so you get the benefit of your dog having wonderful people to walk him/her but also the benefit of Sebastian's wisdom and guidance on what to do with those little challenges that come up day by day when raising a pup. We recently went to Europe and Dewey boarded with A Dog's Way and it was all fantastic. He came home so happy and in such great shape. We are very grateful to A Dog's Way for helping us raise Dewey in this first important year of his life and look forward to many more years with Sebastian and team to come! Highly recommend!

Dogs have always been a passion of mine. I try to give every dog I work with the tender, loving care they deserve. To me this means treating them as if they were my own. Giving them the same love and compassion I give my animals every single day. There is a unique bond between every owner and their pet. Every pet I meet has a special place in my heart. I’ve been referred to as “Auntie Jen” from my clients.

I cannot say enough about how great our experience with Jennifer has been. My little Chihuahua/Jack Russell mix, Lola, absolutely loves her auntie Jennifer. Lola is always so excited to see Jennifer and often waits for her at the door, even on days when she's not scheduled for walks. We have been working with Jennifer for both walks and training sessions. She was very instrumental in helping our dog adjust to her papa. Lola is a rescue with a history of abuse and was very fearful of men in general. With Jennifer's help and training Lola's relationship with her papa slowly grew from fearful to very caring and loving. Jennifer has always been flexible with scheduling and is very kind and loving with our dog. She sends pictures and doggy reports which I really appreciate! Even during these Covid times I've always felt safe and comfortable letting Jennifer into our home. I would highly recommend Jennifer to any dog owner. She has been nothing but wonderful.

Very reliable and very accommodating. Been taking care of my7 month American Bully since he was approx 3 months. I'm very satisfied with the service, and this is coming from a former dog of roughly 8 years. When I'm at work I have peace of mind concerning my pup because I know he's in good hands.Omar - Bedstuy

Energetic and determined certified canine professional well versed in a variety of training methods. I have over a decade of experience in the industry, including privately training over 100 clients in New York City.
Servicing Long Island and NYC We speak dog! And just as important, we love dogs. Top Dog Training provides personalized training for any dog, any age, any problem. We are training and behavioral specialists, providing basic and advanced dog training through positive reinforcement. We only use positive dog training methods. That means your dog will always be treated kindly with us. Happy voices, treats, and repetition are the only ways to train. We consider punishment and unnecessary devices such as prong or shock collars to be archaic. We believe in teaching dog owners to impart simple, effective, time-efficient and cruelty-free techniques that work alongside every dog's natural instincts.
Working with dogs is clearly what I love most about this job, which I would not call a job as I don't feel like I work a day in my life. I also enjoy seeing the results from my work, and the smile on the owners' faces when they see the completed work.
I have worked in corporate america and had my own businesses through the years, but I never really found my passion until I started working with dogs at a nearby animal shelter. It wasn't long before I realized that dog training was my destiny.
I believe I am a natural dog whisperer – there is no other way to put it. The smile on myface as I train shows that I care deeply about the well-being of all dogs, and will make your dog happy and comfortable to be trained.
I have had many dogs of my own over the years, and trained each using only positive method techniques. I have had great success training dogs of all breeds, ages, sizes, and genetic backgrounds, and have developed a knack for solving the problems of difficult dogs, whether they are in NYC, Great Neck, or Huntington.
Of course, my pedigree includes certification from a top dog training school, the International School for Certified Dog Trainers (ISCDT). I am also a graduate of Brandon McMillan’s Master Class.
I service a broad area, including Long Island, Queens, Bronx, and Manhattan. I also provide online dog training.
I am vaccinated and have had my booster shot. I always wear a mask.
