Find a Dog Trainer in Forest Hills

Justin truly is the San Diego dog whisperer.  My wife and I recently decided it was time to search for a private trainer for our 3 year old golden retriever in order to get a handle on some of his bad habits.  After looking through yelp, Justin's overwhelming reviews made him the pretty obvious choice.  We decided we might as well go with the best if we really wanted to commit to a trainer. The wait was well worth it as after just our first two hour session yesterday, the differences have been night and day. Justin's passion for dogs and helping people learn to properly communicate with their dog was immediately obvious. He truly cares about his techniques being effective long after he leaves. It was so amazing to see how well our dog would respond to us within minutes of learning Justin's exercises for communication. Our amazement only continued to grow once we went outside for leash training. Walks have always been a mix of either being pulled, or needing to pull when the brakes are put on to sniff every smell or lunge toward any passing dog. His leash skills improved quickly yesterday and to our amazement stuck overnight as I was able to easily write this review while walking him..which would have been an impossible task in the past. The exercises to maintain his training take little time at all and we are very much looking forward to having such a well-behaved, responsive dog.  We cannot thank Justin enough and would highly recommend him!

Dyese was put on this earth to train and take care of dogs. I met her back in 2022 when we needed someone to take care of our 2 dogs for FIVE WEEKS! 5 weeks is a lot of time to trust someone with your fur babies. I was so nervous. On top of it, one my dogs is an aggressive pitbull who needed training on top of boarding. I was so anxious - but the moment I meant Dyese all of my nerves went away. You can tell just by her presence alone that she is one of the most loving and patient people in the world. While we were gone she would update us on the pups and send us videos and photos. When they came back home, you knew they had the best time with her because both of them tried to get back into her car! I paid very close attention to how my dogs were reacting to her. If a dog wasn’t being loved they would not be obsessed with the person taking care of them and both of our pups are obsessed! And my aggressive pitbull was a completely new dog. Dyese is a miracle worker! Also my aggressive pitbull hates men - Mike is the dog whisper/charmer. He literally became my pitbull’s favorite person from the moment she met him. We used her again in feb 2023 for two weeks. The moment she came over, the dogs RANNNN to her and were so eager to get back in her car. They had the energy of kids like “bye mom we’re gonna go have some real fun” Dyese has a beautiful large yard where it truly is a doggy getaway!! Im so beyond grateful Dyese has come into our lives. It is so comforting to know that our dogs will furever have a safe place to go to 🤍 thank you so so much Dyese! Salem and Sofie adore you - and me and Kevin appreciate you more than you know! My gf and I were beyond stressed as we got ready to move in together. My 9yo pitbull and her 3yo bulldog could only be in the same room for a few min before losing it. In what seemed like no time, Jen had them acting like they have been together their whole lives. Maybe she did a little TOO good, cause now all you hear in my house is them playing till they are so tired that they pass out. Thank you!!!!
