Training was remote over Zoom. I was curious about how that would go at first and I am pleased to report that it was amazing. Paul is very patient and good with dogs! He has worked with my dog Ranger and did a great job! Ranger learned all the basic commands plus a few extra and roll over! I did a “sleepover” with a tabby kitten named Curly and he was the sweetest, most affectionate, playful kitten I have ever seen. My experience with cats previously had always been negative, but he was a game changer. I bonded with him so much in just one night. He is such a lovebug!!!
My heart was completely crushed when I woke up to realize that I was severely allergic to him and that’s the ONLY reason I returned him. I wish that I could have kept him so bad... to whoever adopts, Curly please take especially good care of him. I will always remember him ��

I am beyond impressed with the training that my pup received. I was in dire need of help! Poppy, my 3 yr GSD mix was stranger aggressive, a bear to walk, could jump 12 foot fences and barked incessantly. We decided to put her in the 15 day board and train. WORTH EVERY PENNY. She came home a different dog in a good way. We have been able to have strangers over with no incident. She no longer jumps the fence. I can take her for a walk without being dragged around the block. She doesn’t bark all day. She comes when she is called. AMAZING. We love all the trainers, especially Peter, Brenden, and Andrea. We have been keeping up with group classes and some private lessons to fine tune. If you have an aggressive dog, don’t give up on them! I can’t thank (or recommend) Sit Means Sit enough!

My husband and I took our German Shepherd pup to Diane for his puppy class and returned without hesitation for the dog obedience class several months later. This is my first dog, so I needed all the help I could get with training. Diane uses only positive techniques for training, and our dog gets excited when he hears her name because he LOVES Diane! The classes are very small, and the price can not be beat for the class size. Diane gave us very good tips for how to properly train our Shepherd, and she came to our house for a private behavior session. We also recently took our dog for one day of boarding and he had a great experience with the other dog there. Just today, I recommended Good Dog Training to a colleague and she seemed very eager to take her dog to Diane before even giving her a call. We will be returning to Good Dog Training if we get another puppy!
