Find a Dog Trainer in Pennsauken

I, unfortunately, am typical in that since I have been around dogs my whole life I was sure I knew it all, well, almost all. Been to numerous trainers, but I am completely ECSTATIC that a friend referred Alpha & Omega to me. They are absolutely fantastic. Most other trainers have either been ok with the dogs but had horrendous social skills or they have had great social skills but I didn’t agree with their training methods. Alpha & Omega has BOTH. I think it’s important to mention this because training is really 80/20. 80% of the training is really training the human counterpart and 20% is training the dogs. Without people skills this task becomes near impossible. Ray takes the time to ensure the owners understand every aspect of the training...not just the commands and what to do, but more importantly WHY. Ray takes the time to explain why he is telling you to do something and takes the time to answer any and all questions you may have, which makes learning that much easier...there is no "question work" with Alpha & Omega. Knowing the what and why makes training sooo much easier, and I can’t stress that enough. Ray and Karli make a phenomenal team. Karli works her behind off with scheduling and so many other aspects of making sure everything runs smoothly while Ray is just incredible training his clients and their furry companions. His understanding of the canine mentality and temperament is second to none. They are also smart enough to surround themselves with fantastic and attentive helpers. I have seen some tremendous transformations ... whether it be in basic obedience with some downright wild and/or aggressive pets to teaching me and my boy in the incredibly complex training for sport work. The fine line they walk with understanding what and why a dog does something just boggles my mind. They see what we can’t and they either correct the bad behavior and/or let you know when the dog isn’t necessarily acting up, but reacting to something the handler is doing. The facilities are also top notch. A field in which the drainage is so good that we can train on it after a torrential downpour because the field remains unsaturated and their new building is not only well equipped but spacious enough to get you out of some nasty weather. Aloha & Omega has met any needs we had from teaching Ang how to establish herself as a dominant member of our pack to teaching me and the boy the intricacies of sport work. Couldn’t be happier...TOP NOTCH!!!

The talent and patience of Christina is amazing. Not only does she teach the dogs but gives the owners the tools and guidance to work with. She took our scared little rescue Stitch and and taught him to trust and respond to people and animals alike. I would highly recommend her for any training problems and she is also such a caring person who makes you feel like a new friend
