Highly recommend Cody and his business. He is an honest person of high integrity. We had an issue with the rescue dog we had adopted, she had developed aggresiveness toward our 2 children after about a month of having her, which was escalating. We had been trying to correct it ourselves for 2 months unsuccessfully, before contacting Cody. He spent 1 hour at our home for a free evaluation and we decided to try the training route with her to see if it could be fixed. When he returned back for the 1st training session, he had an honest discussion with us that she might not be trainable for her problem. That both our family and the dog may be better off with rehoming. He spent another hour with us, free of charge and refused any payment. It's not too often these days that you run into a situation like this, where someone is trying to help you, out of the goodness of their heart. He understands dogs and he understands people. I was thrilled to find Max to help us train Watson correctly, from the start. He guided us every step of the way, offering options for training the skills we wanted Watson to have, helping us fully understand the "why" behind each method, and making himself available for answering questions when we had them. He helped us form a really beautiful bond of trust with our dog, and he is now incredibly friendly, loyal, and well-behaved. He's also happy and healthy! I give Max a good deal of credit for this, because he really understands canines -- their needs, their instincts, and their true desires. He helped us understand them too, and that is a benefit we'll treasure forever. I hope to do more advanced training with Watson to help him help others, and I'll be calling on Max for that too.
