We can provide training and instruction on obedience, behavior modification, advanced and specialized skills. We can help with specific obedience issues like pulling, nipping, impulse control, aggressiveness. We specialize in working with larger working dogs breeds but can train dogs of any size, breed, or temperament. Our trainers have experience ranging from handling and training attack, bomb, and drug K9s for police departments, the Department of Defense, the Department of State, to years of experience working and training in a boarding facility and enjoy training people of all age groups. Through the use of professional, innovative ideas, and positive reward training styles; the obedience issues with your dog can usually be resolved in as few as 4 classes.

What do you love most about your job?

We enjoy the opportunity to help customers develop a better relationship with their dog. Through an informative and relaxed training environment, you and your dog will have fun; allowing for better obedience training. And by listening to our trainers expertise, you will grown to understand your dog better and, as a result, be better able to control your dog, minimizing stress on you and your pet.

What inspired you to start your own business?

In 2012 K9SF acquired land in Estill Springs, TN and transformed 42 acres of woodland into a main office that provides training grounds, emergency assistance, and volunteer work to the community. Through alot of hard work we continue to improve our facilities and expand our services, adding new locations worldwide. K9SF opened an office in Minneapolis, next to the Walker Art Museum and is happy to offer training at that location.

Ryan Albaugh, owner and dog lover, has over 5 years in business training dogs in two states. with locations in Minnesota and Tennessee. He holds three K9 Certifications. over three years K9 Handling/Training for US Government, two Deployments with K9 as civilian to Afghanistan. Our other trainer, Milo, has over 7 years working with dogs at Downtown Dogs as a Pack leader, specializing in dog behavior, and dog training.
