I specialize in a personalized and hands-on dog training experience with private lessons that go beyond just your home I will go to a variety of parks, outdoor settings, and stores. For service dogs I go to the above locations, as well as malls, restaurants, zoo’s, and airports if needed. My training ranges from a few private lessons all the way to my most advanced service dog package which can be up to 6 months long.

I am a balanced trainer who works with aggression issues, basic training and socialization as well. My helper dog is pretty fantastic too.

Bethany had a lot of training tools to help teach my hyperactive pup. I learned new strategies to curb his leash pulling, jumping, & reactivity. We also covered the correct ways to use these tools to improve his recall, focus, and impulse control. He seems all the better for it and I’m excited to repeat these steps over the next few days to stay on this track of being more responsive and less destructive.
My mission at Pawsitive 4Paws Training is to enrich the lives of dogs and their owners through positive reinforcement training methods. I believe in nurturing trust, respect, and cooperation between dogs and humans to foster well-behaved and happy companions. With dedication to science-backed techniques and personalized attention, I strive to empower both dogs and owners to achieve their training goals and build a lifelong bond based on mutual understanding and positivity. My motto is “I don’t train dogs. I train people, and condition dogs”.
I am passionate about strengthening the bond between humans and their dogs by fostering a collaborative environment built on teamwork. By nurturing trust and confidence in both, I find it incredibly rewarding to witness the growth that unfolds as they learn and grow together.
I was inspired to become a dog trainer after getting my first fur baby, Q, a brindle pit bull who had been abused before my sister brought her to me. At the time, I knew nothing about training and made many mistakes, unknowingly damaging our relationship. But Q was patient, and I made things right with her before she passed away, for which I'm truly thankful.
I realized there had to be a better way to train dogs, beyond frustration and constant battles. My search led me to an online Dog Training School, and I’m grateful for the mentor who guided me to become a better human, dog owner, and trainer. Once I learned better techniques, I saw an amazing difference in how I interacted with my own pack.
Helping others and their fur babies became my passion. It’s incredible to see how bonds change when I work with families, and it’s a blessing to witness the growth in confidence and understanding in my clients.
