I love to see a change happen. For me, when change starts to happen in training, the owner's bond with their dog starts to grow, and their love will get stronger. I've had sessions where owners have cried because the change in their dog's behavior, was so emotional for them. Those sessions, are the sessions that I love most about my job.
I am going to back a bit here and say if I never wanted a puppy, I wouldn't being owning a business today. I wouldn't be a trainer if it wasn't for Phantom, my English Bull Terrier. I purchased him from a breeder and right from the start he was fire. Testy, intense, goofy, and affectionate all wrapped in fur. I took him to classes and my passion for learning and teaching became ignited. I was encouraged by my instructor at the time to get my training certification so I did. In 2015, I completed my Karen Pryor Program and earned my KPA-CTP certification.
From 2015-2018 I worked for numerous daycares and trainers, gain knowledge and experience. July of 2018, I met my new fiancé, Brandon Getty, who pushed me to finally start the business.
