I worked with Bite Life for basic obedience. EVERYTHING was perfect for me and my dog. My Doberman went from being a lunatic to literally focusing on my every move waiting to be given a command. He now understands his role in our “pack” (all things I learned from my trainer). My favorite command is “Mark” where he calmly sits in his area (a custom built raised platform) until he is allowed to play, he no longer has to be in a cage while in the home. It was an excellent investment in time and money. Even better than that, Eric the lead trainer, happily answers all of my follow up questions and continues to give me tips, well after I trained with them.

We are a dog training company that focuses on the pet dog. We help the owners and their dogs become a team working with love and cooperation. Not force and intimidation. Our philosophy keeps dogs away from the pound and in your homes for the rest of their lives.
Ever since I can remember, I've had a passion for animals, specifically dogs. As a child, I was afraid of dogs because some had acted aggressive towards me, and they scared me. I later learned to communicate with them by pure observation and childhood curiosity. Today, I understand that communication was the key to aggressive behavior, and I use that communication to turn an aggressive dog into a loving friend. That is what I love about my job. There is no other job that I have enjoyed more.
Many years ago, I went to the county's animal control department and saw three shopping carts full of dead dogs waiting to be incinerated. That image had a traumatic effect on me and I knew then that my life would be dedicated to these animals. I wanted to do whatever I could to keep dogs from this fate.
This field has become very competitive and I know there are a lot of good trainers out there and I'm glad because the market needs more of us to keep the dogs from the pound. Whoever you decide on working with, I hope they bring to the table the experience, knowledge, kindness and enthusiasm that I bring.
I could, but I won't. I want to be present and feel the dog and I want the dog to feel me. I can communicate with people online, but not with dogs. I need the participation of the dog and the human to make an effective training situation. If you must do this online, please call some of the other trainers.
We will wear masks when the situation calls for it.
