My husband and I met Jasmine about 4.5 years ago when we got our first little pup Brownie. Brownie was an adorable 14 week old shih-tzu -poodle mix that loved everyone, but lacked any shred of puppy manners. Additionally, we had two small children that were terrified of dogs. Jasmine worked not only with Brownie, but with both of our kids to make them comfortable with not only our dog, but other dogs too. Fast forward about 4 years and we welcomed a new fur ball into our home. Harley was a 17 week old Siberian Husky that was practically a four legged tornado. Brownie and Harley were not exactly the best of friends in the beginning. Harley very much loved Brownie, but Brownie didn't appreciate Harley's lack of understanding their size differences. Jasmine helped us with potty training, general obedience, and most helpful of all; she helped us bring Harley and Brownie together. Today, we have two perfect pups! Brownie and Harley are the best of friends. Harley understands how much bigger she is, and has even learned to let Brownie win. I can't thank Jasmine enough for everything she's done for our little babies. I would recommend her to anyone!

We've been fostering dogs for quite some time. Occasionally we run into difficult training/behavior situations with our fosters, beyond crate training and the basics, that I'm not qualified to address. Anyone can train a Labrador Retriever, that comes from a good breeder, to "sit"... but when you're dealing with a dog with an uncertain background/breed... it sometimes takes someone with advanced canine behavior/training knowledge. For us, that is where Canine Connections comes in! We've been working with Chelsea for years for both training and pet sitting. She helped us through basic training hiccups with several foster's, and helped me train one of our "foster fails" (a dog we adopted) all the way through CGC training (George is absolutely the best trained dog I've every had). But the reason why I'm here to write a review is to talk about our other dog... Max and his journey. When we rescued him as a puppy, he was so feral and hostile towards children that I didn't want him in my home. He was so aggressive, that he would attack the bars of his crate if we walked too closely near it. He was in bad shape and had obviously been beaten and worse... branded with a hot iron. His jaw and front paw are both crooked from poorly healed breaks. I was convinced he was un-adoptable, the first time in my life I was willing to give up on a dog. Even our vet pulled me aside to tell me firmly, that the aggression this dog was displaying was NOT normal puppy aggression and we had a real problem on our hands. She thought, based on his injuries and the brand, that he might have been a bait dog. It was my daughter who begged me to call Chelsea to see if there was anything that we could do to help him so he wouldn't be put down. Chelsea met with him and said she could help him, so I promised my daughter we would give him two weeks to show some improvement. Chelsea began the painfully slow process of understanding where we could touch him that wouldn't set him off, how to approach him so we wouldn't frighten him and taught my daughter how to hand feed him so every piece of food came from her hand. She had me play certain sounds in the house and reward him if he ignored it (he was so easily set off, that he would attack the TV viciously if a dog came up on the screen). She socialized him with her own pack of dogs (even though Max had a disturbing habit of picking up her Chihuahua puppy and carrying him around like a purse). I was very impressed with her ability to observe him interact with other dogs and with my family and know exactly what to do, step by step... and also to let us know... all his bravado was just smoke and mirrors. After all his snarling and growling, she pointed out, he's never bit anyone. All the aggression he displays has worked for him so far to stop people from hurting him. It was fear, not aggression. That piece of information was key for me. I was able to relax and help him along his path to recovery. Now, years later, we have a dog who wags his tail constantly, worships my daughter, walks around confidently in public and throws himself on our feet with his belly exposed and tail wagging furiously to get belly rubs. This morning was the first time he ever yodeled in pleasure at my daughter wrestling on the floor with him. It was the most adorable thing I've ever seen. I'm at a loss for words regarding the transformation. He sleeps at the foot of her bed every night and my daughter will grow up with the knowledge that she "saved" him because she wouldn't give up on him and "made" me call Chelsea (she reminds me of this constantly!). Thank you Chelsea for all that you have done and continue to do for our pack!!

I decided to get my 6 month old labradoodle trained by Christina and it was the best decision I’ve made. She is so well behaved now and walks so well on a leash. She knows her basic commands and she has a better attention span. Christina was great sending lots of updates and pictures. Would highly recommend using Maligators Dog Training. I plan on sending our next dog to her for training also. Thanks so much Christina!

I love this place! My cat Onyx was in critical condition and the staff there was beyond awesome at explaining the reasoning for his condition and helping us understand his condition. The minute we walked in the door they immediately came to greet us and began assessing the situation. We had come from a horrid experience at the ER Hospital where they told us our only option was to have him euthanized so the helpful and smiling faces were great to us! I could not have asked for better care for our fur baby! I would recommend them to everyone!!
