We offer public classes and private instruction for all breeds, all ages and all issues. We have Puppy Building Block Courses, Basic Obedience & Behavior Courses, Advanced Canine Good Citizen Courses and Reactive Dog (Anger Management) Classes. We have Private Instruction Sessions for singular issues and for those who cannot attend a class or have a dog that isn't suited for a public class environment.

Our little monster just graduated from puppy obedience. We plan to drop in for another class or two before moving up into the basic obedience course. The facilities are clean and professionally run. The instruction is very much focused on training the owners, not the dogs. We're there to learn how to train our pup vs having someone train him for us.

I have dealt with Sit means sit in the past and had great success with them. Â It is expensive and at first it is hard to get over the fact that you are giving your animal a slight "tick" to remind them to pay attention to you. Â After getting a boxer puppy a few months ago, I thought that I would be able to train him and get him under control without the help of a trainer....Boy was I wrong. Â After only 2 weeks of training with Sit Means Sit, the puppy is a completely different dog. Â The collar never bothers him and he responds better that I could have ever hoped. Â He doesn't have accidents anymore, he walks without pulling and is moving on to bigger and better commands. Â I am simply amazed at how much difference a good trainer can make and Sit Means Sit definitely provides just that. Â By far the best decision I have made in regards to raising a happy well behaved boxer and excited to continue the training and see just how smart this puppy is.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Shaina and the team at Dog Dynamix have been such a blessing to us and our rescue border collie puppy, Oscar. Oscar has been working through basic obedience, reactivity, fear and anxiety. We were lost before we found Shaina and Dog Dynamix. She cares so deeply for the animals she works with and her clients. Oscar has come a LONG way and what we've learned has been invaluable. His recall is excellent, the tools we learned in how to exercise him/train him simultaneously, the day to day management and care for him. He feels safe and comfortable with the wonderful people at Dog Dynamix. I learn something new every time we speak! I will forever be grateful for the 2-month board and train program (boot camp) we went through.

Justin truly is the San Diego dog whisperer. Â My wife and I recently decided it was time to search for a private trainer for our 3 year old golden retriever in order to get a handle on some of his bad habits. Â After looking through yelp, Justin's overwhelming reviews made him the pretty obvious choice. Â We decided we might as well go with the best if we really wanted to commit to a trainer. The wait was well worth it as after just our first two hour session yesterday, the differences have been night and day. Justin's passion for dogs and helping people learn to properly communicate with their dog was immediately obvious. He truly cares about his techniques being effective long after he leaves. It was so amazing to see how well our dog would respond to us within minutes of learning Justin's exercises for communication. Our amazement only continued to grow once we went outside for leash training. Walks have always been a mix of either being pulled, or needing to pull when the brakes are put on to sniff every smell or lunge toward any passing dog. His leash skills improved quickly yesterday and to our amazement stuck overnight as I was able to easily write this review while walking him..which would have been an impossible task in the past. The exercises to maintain his training take little time at all and we are very much looking forward to having such a well-behaved, responsive dog. Â We cannot thank Justin enough and would highly recommend him!

I am a certified dog trainer and love helping people train their puppies so they can live a relaxed life enjoying each other’s company!
Our trainers have over 40 years combined experience and our founder is one of only five behaviorist in the state. In addition to private clients, regional rescue organizations and shelters utilize our team to rehabilitate and rehome otherwise unadoptable dogs. Our science-based, no-treat positive reinforcement methods create harmony and balance in the canine-human bond.
Our team can all agree that the best part of our jobs is being a part of creating stringer human-canine bonds by facilitating an understanding in pet handlers of what dogs need and how to achieve that harmony.
When got woof? was founded in 2000, there was significantly less that was understood generally about dogs, but a definite need for that education. As the science progresses and dogs have become family in a way they weren't a few years ago, people have come to understand more clearly how increase these creatures are. To be able to create balance within that dynamic remains tremendously rewarding.
Our approach is fairly unique in that we don't utilize treats to train. Some dogs aren't food motivated, and some situations require a response where treats may not be readily available. Rather than providing "bribes" for desired responses, we build mutually beneficial relationships.
We provide remote, one-on-one services throughout the US and Canada.
We added remote services during the pandemic as a way to still benefit our clients while maintaining a safe distance. During lockdown, an unprecedented number of people fostered or adopted new family members who benefitted from the individual training we provide.
