Our mission is to teach both our clients and their dogs to effectively communicate with each other. We encourage our clients to schedule out their dog's day and then enrich that schedule with additional structure; training, socialization, play, exercise and enrichment.

Our dog Spooky was out of control.
Counter Surfing.
Lunging At Strangers.
Jumping On Guests.
Food Guarding.
Charging Out The Door Before Us. Etc Etc..
We needed help and a friend referred us to
Websters Dog Training. Gordon came straight out the day we called him and did a
free consultation.
We signed up for the 5 week Behavioral Program and
it completely changed our lives and our dogs too.
Gordon was very fair when handling Spooky but the
moment he stepped out of line Gordon was also firm.
It was very clear right from the beginning of “
Our “ training , that we had been enabling our dog’s behavior for a long time.
Websters Dog Training insist on Consistency from
you while communicating with your dog and that’s our responsibility.
They also require that same consistency from the
dog also. This adjustment in lifestyle/understanding has been an eye opener and
a pleasure to be involved in.
Dogs are a lot of work but when you understand the
basic mechanics of how they think… It’s a “Light Bulb Moment ..!”
Give Gordon and Jake a call. Give yourselves and
your dog the chance of a happier life.

Husband and wife co-owners Melissa and Jeff Otto started their first company in 2011, Pawsitively Perfect Pooches. Initially conceived simply as a positive reinforcement dog training company, the Otto’s soon discovered their clients, both two and four-legged, needed more. Over the past ten years, they expanded the business to offer private dog walks and group hikes. Turns out, the need for a truly customer focused boutique walking and hiking service was greater than they ever could have expected.

Grace called me immediately after sending a request, & we scheduled time within 48 hours to connect. She met with my rescue dog, who has aggression towards other animals, & showed me how to control him a bit better in just one or two hours.
Grace clearly knows what she is talking about & the experience shows in her work. She's patient, easy to work with, & provided fast results that surpassed even my skeptic expectations. Grace is a very valuable resource for dogs & I suggest you give her a call.

Maddie helped me with my six month old pitbull. He was lunging at people and really reactive on a leash, and when we started working with Maddie, she taught him basic commands and taught him excellent leash walking skills. She is an incredible trainer and made my concerns feel heard and she trains completely using treats and petting my dog. Thank you, Maddie.

Any type of dog training begins with the pet parent. I love working with dogs 1:1, but my specialty is bridging the communication gaps between you and your pup! All training starts at home!

What would my pug, Pants, be without Melissa and Pawsitively Perfect Pooches? Unruly. I am pretty terrible with discipline, especially when I'm face-to-face with the furry, black, sausage-shaped, lap-loving, smooshed-face sweetheart that is Pants. Fortunately, early in his life, Pants met and instantly loved Melissa and her unbelievably friendly dobie, Badonkadonk. Yes, really, that's really his name and Pants' best friend. A pug and a dobie, playing happily together - who woulda thought? It's just a little evidence that Melissa can work wonders. Pugs are not known for ease in trainability so, while they're lovers - not fighters, they don't often do what you want, when you want. However, with the gentle but commanding and always positive approach Melissa takes in her training, Pants was like pug-shaped putty in her hands.

I love helping people feel better about themselves and live their best life, either health wise as a personal trainer or showing them how to create the relationship with their dog they've always wanted..or both!
When I was two I opened the whimpering box under the Christmas tree to discover a golden retriever puppy. We had an instant irrevocable bond. It was Sandy's friendship that inspired my love of animals.
While away at college, and far from the unconditional support of the following four-legged family member, Ginger, I discovered her interest in health and fitness. I started to walk and take group fitness classes, enjoying the physical and mental benefits of being active.
In January of 2009, in hopes to return just some of the tenderness that Sandy and Ginger shared with her, I began volunteering at L.A. Animal Services North Central Shelter*. I quickly gained respect as an experienced and trustworthy dog handler and even began teaching other volunteers how to handle and train the shelter dogs. It is both heart breaking and tremendously rewarding work. I adopted her beautiful Belgian Malinois mix, Berlin, from this shelter in 2010.
At this same time my fitness regime had progressed and I was participating in full and half marathons. Now my favorite part about participating in a race was not crossing the finish line but training with my best buddy. Berlin and I have even walked and ran in several 5Ks and 10Ks together.
I soon realized that I could help others feel the joy of staying healthy as a team and launched Feet & Paws Fitness. I love combining her fitness education with my dog training skills and helping people and their dogs be healthy and happy TOGETHER!
I enjoy working with clients of all types with a variety of goals. For personal training, I specialize in functional fitness, helping you strengthen your body to better perform daily tasks. For dog training, after 10+ years of experience working with dogs as a trainer and shelter volunteer, I enjoy working with all breeds and specialize in helping people create a confident and calm canine companion.
