Dog's Choice provides Board and Train Programs and In-Home Training. My focus as I trainer is to teach the dog the proper manners and behaviors, as well as teach the human/owner how to manage and help their dog be successful! I love when the two come together and the owner and dog end up with a happy and healthy relationship!

Dogs in Harmony is amazing! We adopted our 5-year-old rescue dog, Dunkin, in December, and he was very leash reactive to everything, but especially other dogs. Dunkin did a few drop-off sessions with Shanni because of COVID and she helped us understand so much about who Dunkin is as a dog and how we could help him feel confident and comfortable with us as his new family. She connected us to a great vet behaviorist who helped us immeasurably and then we began Zoom training sessions with Shanni's colleague, Diana. Diana is an incredible, knowledgable trainer who obviously loves dogs so deeply. I could feel her love and pride for Dunkin through the screen as he learned more each week! We learned so much from our sessions with Diana and went from a family who stayed at home with our dog 24-7, scared to take him out into the world, to a family who can now confidently take leashed walks with a dog who listens and pays attention to us! Our training sessions have helped us build a loving relationship with our dog and troubleshoot any behaviors that came out as we got to know him better. I highly recommend Shanni and Diana and Dogs in Harmony. They know so much about dogs and positive reinforcement training and they also love dogs so deeply. They will love your dog right along with you and help you become the best owner and companion for YOUR dog. I am so grateful for them.

Lucy has created one of the most personal and most professional pet care services in the bay area. I have personally witnessed care that she gave to several clients' pets. She and her staff are extremely knowledgeable about almost every species of cat and dog, sensitive to needs for special foods and medication, and just plain love animals and what they do for them. Lucy is one of the most positive, kind and caring people I know – she extends this to her work every day. Tails Up gets a definite thumbs up!
