What do you love most about your job?

I love dogs and being able to help people create a stronger connection with their pet is my favourite part of the job. Puppy training can be particularly rewarding as well!

Do you offer any specialised forms of training?

I can offer everything from house training a puppy to teaching an adult how to complete an agility course in competition. I specialise in commands and being able to instruct owners on how to handle their pup, as well as teaching them how to better understand their dog. One of the more specialist aspects I train on is separation anxiety.

What variety of training options do you provide for clients?

I believe I offer a great range, including home visits, group sessions, and private one-to-one instructor classes. I’m also happy meeting in a suitable public place such as a dog park. Working with you and your dog, we’ll create a routine that works perfectly.

What qualifications have you achieved?

I have earned qualifications from: the Kennel Club Accredited Instructors, Level 3 CPD Accredited Dog Training, Diploma in Dog Training, and more. I’ve also attended dozens of seminars hosted by leading trainers/behaviourists. I’m a full member of the Guild of Dog Trainers and the Association of Pet Dog Trainers.

One year ago, my husband and I rescued two full grown female pitbulls that were abandoned together, tied to a fence. They didn’t know any commands and had never been on a leash before us. Even As experienced dog owners, we struggled in every walk with them. Through social media, we found Rich at K9 Reset. We did two classes as a group and immediately saw results with their leash skills. One of our dogs required a little more in depth training so we opted for the week course where she went to stay with Rich. She came back a very disciplined and well behaved dog. She was so well trained that the dog we didn’t send to the week course seemed to learn from the one we did. We kept on the strict discipline for 60 or so days based on Rich’s guidance and it truly made a difference long term. It has been a year and both dogs are amazing on leash for walks and can't be bothered with distractions. They are often barked at, but maintain their focus and ignore it. Today, and for the first time, we let them off leash on a trail near our home and they walked beside us the entire time and followed every command. We couldn’t be more satisfied with Rich and the training he did with our pups. Even after a year, he will always answer us with any follow up questions we have. I do want to mention, training isn’t a magic fix. You will need to put in the work too and you can’t go back to the “status quo” with your pup. Rich will give you the guidance and the tools you need to keep the momentum and training going. We can’t thank Rich enough for how much he helped us and our girls!

Bark.com Cheyenne was excellent with my dog Oliver. Oliver was out of control with anxiety from moving about & was barking all the time and not listening to commands. Cheyenne came along and took him for training and made him a new dog. He’s obedient, he listens and she did amazing job with him. I would highly recommend Cheyenne for dog training. She’s very professional, stern, very nice, trustworthy and was very good when I needed information about my dog. She was constantly immediately available with my questions l had. I would highly recommend her for dog training. She did an excellent job.

I had a great experience with this company and trainer! The trainer, Jeff, was very accommodating to my dogs needs. I had a lot of questions before signing my dog up for training and Jeff was able to answer all of my questions, while making me feel comfortable with my decision. The environment and methods of training were exactly what I was looking for. I recommend this company and will be using them for future boarding needs as well!
