Recently, my wife and I decided to consider hiring a cleaning service for our home. The sheets on our bed were freshly made. Hard-to-reach places like our bookcase were dusted and cleaned, including around and underneath the mat used for our dog’s food and water bowls. Every i was dotted; every t was crossed. To say my wife and I were impressed would be a huge understatement—and that’s for two people who are sticklers for details. Prior to the cleaning, my wife and I were on the fence about whether to sign up for regularly scheduled cleanings. Hiring a cleaning service isn’t cheap, and so for us, the value proposition had to be there. In fact, the value proposition needed to be exceptional.
