I help adults with stress, anxiety, and relationship issues during major life transitions—especially people who are high-functioning but feel anxious or overwhelmed inside. This might be a breakup, a new role at work, a move, or preparing for parenthood. In times like these, stress and anxiety often show up as feeling on edge, irritability, overthinking, perfectionism, or exhaustion. You can be doing everything “right” and still feel overwhelmed—major transitions can shake even the most capable people. Together in therapy, we’ll work toward feeling calmer, more focused, and more emotionally aware—so you can show up more fully at work and with loved ones. You can expect less overthinking and more ease communicating in relationships. My style is warm, gentle, and highly collaborative. I regularly check in to see how our work is landing and what approaches feel most helpful. We’ll set clear goals and track what’s changing. Some sessions, you may need lots of space to talk freely. I’ll offer a steady, open presence and let you lead. Other times, you may want more guidance, and I’ll lead you through guided exercises that support the growth and healing you seek. Big life changes can be very unsettling. Your mind may race, and your body may have trouble settling. If that’s where you are, it makes sense. We’ll work toward steadier ground. I draw from my training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR Therapy, Hakomi Mindful Somatic Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). Clients often tell me they’re less reactive, less stuck in their heads, and more able to handle hard moments without spiraling. If this feels like a fit, use the calendar link on my website to book a free consultation.

What do you love most about your job?

I’m deeply gratified by my work, and find great fulfillment in helping my clients become stronger and wiser beings! I'm wholeheartedly committed to tailoring therapy to the unique backgrounds and needs of each of my clients. I stay up-to-date on the latest research in psychology and neuroscience, so that I support clients with the most effective healing techniques available.

Why should our clients choose you?

I’ve worked as a therapist for eight years, which includes private practice and a variety of Bay Area agency positions. For my master's degree, I earned a M.S. in Counseling Psychology at SFSU in 2013. In 2016, I trained as a couples therapist, and subsequently completed a beginner-level certification in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). In May 2018, I earned a certification for basic training in EMDR Therapy for Trauma. From February 2018 to present, I’ve engaged in weekly clinical supervision focused on Hakomi Mindfulness-Centered Therapy. My experience includes a dedicated study and practice of meditation and mindfulness since 2004. I maintain an eclectic practice that integrates western research, and is heavily influenced by Theravada Buddhism which I’ve studied through several Bay Area meditation groups and retreat centers.
