The decision to start counseling is a difficult one, “Am I really that bad?” “I should be able to fix myself.” “Maybe they’ll tell me I’m crazy.” “How do I know this works?” While the prospect of counseling can be frightening, the reality is usually much less exciting. When you come in we will work on figuring out and resolving your situation with straightforwardness and good humor.

As an ordained minister and mother of 7 children, I have a unique perspective on life, ways of communicating, and how people think. I would love to have the opportunity to assist others in finding satisfaction with their lives, both personally and professionally. When it comes to counseling, I do Christian counseling, which follows the same principles as regular counseling, but is not covered by insurance (it will be an out of pocket expense) as i am not a "licensed" therapist or psychologist .

I have suffered many addictions (food, sex, drugs, alcohol, smoking, etc.) I've suffered depression, anxiety, I've been homeless, I've struggled with my weight, I've been overweight most of my life, I suffered low self esteem, lack of self love, self hate, suicidal ideation, you name it, I've been through it and can relate. I have also won every one of those battles. I coach part time now, not because I need to because I have a very successful construction business.
