Consulting Counselors, LLC

Consulting Counselors, LLC is a registered company in Louisville, KY. We work with clients in Kentucky and other states, who seek to remove roadblocks to their mental health, fulfilling relationships, and preferred careers and futures. Though the company was registered in 2022 in Kentucky, Dr Manda has worked in the therapy and counseling field for over 14 years and has listened to hundreds of clients' stories in North America, Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. His cross-cultural orientation and specialist knowledge makes him one of the desirable therapists by clients across the racial spectrum. Several facts make my company unique: 1. I use both psychological and spiritual resources to address your holistic needs of care. Studies show that many patients or clients would like their spiritual needs to be addressed in therapy. Addressing them not only has positive clinical outcomes but gives clients a sense of purpose, meaning, and direction in life. 2. I believe in my clients that they have the ability and tools to solve problems in their lives and I work with them to facilitate the change process. One client said, "I have seen 22 therapists before you, but you are unique. They all focused on my problems, but you focus on my strength." 3. I help clients set goals in therapy that make a difference in their lives. One client said, "I believe I will benefit a lot in therapy with you. You set goals and I am also a goal-oriented person. The other therapist did not know what she was doing." 4. Awareness is the best form of empowerment. I discuss with clients the therapy process in session 1 so that they are aware of the direction we are taking. My therapy process has 3 phases: Phase 1: Information gathering- Here we assess what problem(s) brings you to therapy, your needs, hopes, and resources. This may take us between the 1st and 3rd session. Phase 2: Plan of care or treatment plan- Based on the info gathered in Phase 1 above, we discuss what you want to accomplish in therapy and set major and mini goals to achieve it. Step 3: Treatment or Intervention- We discuss different treatment approaches, agree on which one we want to apply first, and monitor the progress.
