Some years ago, I had relocated back to the Quad Cities from a short stint in TX and it had brought to a head an unmanageable number of issues for me. Some were unresolved childhood issues, current marital issues, and just feeling emotionally, physically, and spiritually overwhelmed. Through counseling with Denise I was able to find my way back to forgiveness and healing, and to become a whole person again. I also appreciated her great tips about "boundaries" and how to deal with difficult interpersonal relationships with my biological family. I highly recommend her....experience in counseling is worth a lot and she meets you right where you are.

I really wish I had met Gary at the start of my recovery journey! But god puts the perfect person in your life at the perfect time. You love him or hate him I guess. He has been a great guy to get to know. I have already graduated and still continue to go. I want to be there and will continue to go for as long as possible. I can truly tell you he has made a huge impact on me and my sobriety! Love him! God bless him for what he is doing! 40+ years of solid sobriety and a wealth of knowledge. He has been there and done it and that relate ability is priceless! I have never felt more at home! He is a straight shooter no bs. I can keep going on about him lol! Give him a try, be open and honest and you may see him the way I do. I owe you my life!
Thank you,
Kyle Horstman
I love supporting people in discovering how fantastic and powerful they are. My experience is that most of us operate well below our potential. Over our lifetime we have suffered traumas and had mis-learnings which resulted in programs that sabotage us. It is exciting to me to see people as they release old garbage and their true gifts begin to shine.
Since I was a child I have been curious and had lots of questions. Questions like, "Why in a moment of crisis can a person do something super human and then in the next moment have difficulty doing the simplest of tasks?" "How do I learn to be happy, productive and loving most of the time and even laugh at myself when I fail?" "What is my purpose and how do I achieve my potential? "How can I help others be all that they can be?"
To answer my questions I have traveled the world studying philosophies and healing methods. As I have discovered answers I have found it most rewarding and valuable to share what I have learned by supporting others on their journey.
I have a breadth of wisdom and experience that can help most people find the answers they are looking for, and if I don't have what they need then I probably know someone who can help them.
I take a holistic approach addressing problems from a mental, emotional, physical and spiritual perspective. This allows people to address the cause of their issues rather than simply treating the symptom.
I am fun to work with and people see results.
