I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and certified premarital counselor, specializing in individual, couples and parenting issues. I hold a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology with marriage and family emphasis, from Chicago School of Professional Psychology, and a Bachelor of Electronic Engineering from Northrop University.

A native of Longview, TX, Casey founded the non-profit known as Starr Avenue Co in 2016, in Nacogdoches, TX. Starr Avenue Co is an organization which celebrates harmonious participation of the arts. Casey holds over 20 years of training as a performance percussionist for numerous rhythm instruments. He is a Sound Engineer training at Dallas Sound Lab and he is a dedicated social and community partisan.

I've worked with high stakes people and teams for my entire career. Entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, creators, designers, artists. When the stakes are high, everything matters. When everything matters, we want and need to bring our best. We strive to be in Flow. Yet High stakes often translate to high stress, and we can get distracted and overwhelmed. When we are overwhelmed, we enter a Spin, or resistance state, where we are distracted, and things are harder to accomplish.

My modality is CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy that focuses on improving your thoughts and behaviors which affect the way you feel) and solution focused. My approach to each client is tailored to his or her unique needs. In working with couples, I emphasize on solution- focused therapy. I use role play to pinpoint the pattern of the couple’s argument and I guide them to adapt a positive style of communication.
