This review is for Reserve Drive. I have met with several therapists through my life both in Washington and California. I started with Lisa Hammon September 2017. Lisa's calm personality has been helpful as I walk through some of the grief of loosing my husband. Recently I have included my teenage grandsons to mix as they lost their role model. I wasn't sure what the outcome would be. She did an amazing job with both my grandsons 14 and 15. Thank you. In summary my experience here has been nothing but positive which also includes the reception area as well. They have not made mistakes on my billing either.

Provides high quality psychological services to adults and teens. Specializing in helping those who struggle with trauma, depression or anxiety. We emphasize counseling that prioritizes the individual preferences of each client, and is informed by research and sound clinical practice. What this means is that when someone comes to us for help, we respond by offering several approaches could be used to reach his or her goals. Together a decision is made about how to proceed with therapy. Collaborative and individualized therapy is what we focus upon because this approach is most successful.
Helping individuals break free from depression, anxiety, trauma and other stressors is tremendously rewarding. Particularly when seeing how, being free from these burdens, the individual is able to more fully realize his or her potential.
Having worked as a clinical psychologist within the University of California, Davis, Medical Center for many years I decided to open a private practice. Within the private sector my colleagues and I are able to serve clients without the constraints of red tape and multiple layers of bureaucracy. It allows for a more personal connection with those we serve.
At Invictus Psychological Services you have therapists that are highly trained, and who specialize in helping people with the very sort of problems you are experiencing. We do not try to be all things to all people - that would diminish our effectiveness. Instead we focus on helping those who are anxious, depressed or troubled by trauma.
If someone comes to us seeking help for some other concern, and we are not able to be of assistance, we work to find another counselor who has that expertise. We also believe in the power of teamwork, and consequently will frequently consult with each other in order to find the best way of bringing about change for our clients.
Our combination of teamwork, reliance on research based therapy, and an approach that tailors counseling to the individual, helps our clients reach their goals.
