Find a Commercial Interior Designer in Detroit

I couldn’t have found a better partner for my project! I came into the project with scattered ideas and a limited sense of what would actually work for my house, and Julia managed to take everything I said and come up with a design I love. Wanting to still make sure I was making the best decision, I spent time on my own considering variations on the design, only to come back to Julia’s plan every time. I’m really impressed with the way she figured out what to do with the space so quickly, all while showing that she actually understood what I wanted (without just stopping at the surface of my request) and that she could balance her sensibilities with my own. Design sense aside, she was also a great project manager — she always kept the plan moving, responded quickly to my messages, and sent me messages that showed she had my project on her mind and cared about it. I’m SO happy with the design and I know I wouldn't have gotten here without Julia.

My husband and I have purchased furniture at Mclaughlin's in Novi and and have had very good experiences both times. In my opinion the furniture is high quality and the staff was helpful. The first sale was with a gentleman, who new a lot about baseball and was fun to talk with, really went the extra mile arranging shipping, etc. Next, a saleswoman checked out fabric availability and alternatives for a piece we needed even though it was a smaller sale. I have to say it's one of my favorite furniture stores!

They bring so much to the table because of their deep experience in doing the best of homes. I wanted to re-do the kitchen in a second home. I thought I kind of knew where this project would go, then they swept in, drafted a very creative plan, so much cooler than what I imagined, and I had everything I needed to go ahead and buy the necessary components on my own. This kitchen is going to add so much to my house and how we use the space.
