I found Ace through the Better Business Bureau -- a good place to start when looking for reputable companies. Â Ace was not without some last-minute hinks -- After being absolutely clear that I wanted a fully English-speaking crew, 4 hispanics showed up in a 26-foot U-Haul. Not cool. I was told that since their company truck was not working, I would get an extra man on the job. Â Bottom line: These guys all worked like crazy. Â I bought them all gatorade and I had to insist that they take the time to eat lunch -- the move took from morning until 5 pm. I would not hesitate to tell friends and family to use this service. Â BTW: I went online to a mover search engine and they gave my phone number to about 8 moving companies. They all had similar websites - I wonder if these are not all the same company. The first quote was $85 an hour, after a few days of indecision, the prices came down to $68 hour. Â I checked these guys out at the Better Business Bureau and there were a lot of outstanding complaints. Â Be careful out there!
