Through a family acquaintance, we met three incredible people who shooed Brad out of the way and took over his dad’s home health care, and over the next year, they became as close to us as if they were members of our family.
After John died, one of them suggested that Brad start a cleaning company so we could continue to work together. As he planned the company, we knew that we wanted to treat our employees as John's caregivers treated our family -- and so in this company, we have deep respect for the hard work and deep skillset of our cleaners. They are deservedly paid more than at most cleaning companies, and they are an integral part of the company’s decision making process. And rather than bringing on cleaners as contractors and leaving them to cover the cost of all of their business expenses, we hire our cleaners as employees, providing workers’ compensation insurance, paying payroll taxes, and purchasing the cleaning supplies that they use.
