We went through The Looking Glass Bakery for our wedding. We did not want to do the transitional cake option, Looking Glass had a lot of options to choose from. We decided on the lemon cream cheese, rhubarb crumble and blonde bars. There was only crumbs left at the end of the night. Guests continued to go up for more! The prices were reasonable and everything was ready to go right when expected to be picked up.

People seriously go check it out! It will rock your world.

I too liked the old menu better. Having said that, the chicken fajita salad is very yummy!

We came from Iowa for the Iowa /Wisconsin game. Stayed for 2 nights. Very clean and the staff was very friendly. We were a little surprised there wasn't a refrigerator in the room as we paid $260 per night to stay but it was worth it to be so close to downtown Madison for the weekend. We also liked there was a complimentary shuttle so we didn't have to drive anywhere ourselves. The bed was very comfortable too. The fitness area was also very clean and had very good equipment to use. It was also a nice touch that we got vouchers for being green. We would have given 5 stars if there had been a fridge in the room but in all a very nice hotel. We would recommend it to others.

A fantastic local Italian restaurant. They have super amazing home cooked food. This is a cozy family friendly restaurant and a great place to bring kids. They have options for specific dietary needs. And great vegetation options. Wonderful staff here as well! This is one of the best places in Madison!

Hands down the best bagels in Madison. Their bagel breakfast sandwiches are made with real, fresh ingredients, putting Einsteins to shame. You'll really taste the difference.

My family and I have long searched for a good place for Tapas in Madison - The Icon exceeded all of our expectations. The menu was large, the food was delicious, and the service was wonderful. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who would like to have a delectable meal in a comfortable, cool atmosphere.

Friendly staff, university style pub with menu to match. Greasy but tasty cheese curds with loads of choices for sauces. Known for their brat, not my kind of sausage but satisfying. Prices were fantastic though, great value for students. Very satisfying meal.

Large and plenty of space, was 'very good' for service until I ordered a birthday shot for my friend...nothing complicated...a simple 'lunchbox'...but then the male bartender told me 'order something else' based on the sole fact he didn't want to take the time to make me, the patron's, drink. Went to another bartender, 'yeah no problem' she said to the lunchbox order...very dissatisfied that dude was rude, thank goodness for at least one decent bartender there. DON'T ORDER FROM GUY BARTENDER!!!

I made my own salad it was surprisingly very good! Their spinach pesto vinaigrette is the bomb. I'm excited that Ann Arbor finally has a healthy, convenient option for college students. However, I think it's a bit pricey, especially the additional costs for protein. But it being placed in Ann Arbor and having fresh and quality ingredients makes it more fair. My biggest problem is the service. I've been here twice and both times they were pretty unorganized. Some of them are unfamiliar with the ingredients as well... I had to point out where the kalamata olives and cucumbers were. They also lost track of my order, so when I went to pay they scrambled and tried looking for my order (which they write down while making the salad). I understand that it's a new place with new workers, so hopefully this will get better. Otherwise, I'm excited for Salads Up to make a name for itself among college students here!
