Great people! Very attentive to our gluten needs.

Food is really good, especially the brisket. My family and I were fast returners after our first time trying the food. Now it's one of our favorite places to be. Plus the restaurant is very clean and the workers are friendly.

We went through The Looking Glass Bakery for our wedding. We did not want to do the transitional cake option, Looking Glass had a lot of options to choose from. We decided on the lemon cream cheese, rhubarb crumble and blonde bars. There was only crumbs left at the end of the night. Guests continued to go up for more! The prices were reasonable and everything was ready to go right when expected to be picked up.

I too liked the old menu better. Having said that, the chicken fajita salad is very yummy!

We came from Iowa for the Iowa /Wisconsin game. Stayed for 2 nights. Very clean and the staff was very friendly. We were a little surprised there wasn't a refrigerator in the room as we paid $260 per night to stay but it was worth it to be so close to downtown Madison for the weekend. We also liked there was a complimentary shuttle so we didn't have to drive anywhere ourselves. The bed was very comfortable too. The fitness area was also very clean and had very good equipment to use. It was also a nice touch that we got vouchers for being green. We would have given 5 stars if there had been a fridge in the room but in all a very nice hotel. We would recommend it to others.

First time dining there, had the smoked link sandwich. The sides were good.

A fantastic local Italian restaurant. They have super amazing home cooked food. This is a cozy family friendly restaurant and a great place to bring kids. They have options for specific dietary needs. And great vegetation options. Wonderful staff here as well! This is one of the best places in Madison!

Hands down the best bagels in Madison. Their bagel breakfast sandwiches are made with real, fresh ingredients, putting Einsteins to shame. You'll really taste the difference.

Go online and find the classiest cake recipe you can. Buy all the ingredients, set aside part of a day to plan, bake, and assemble said cake. Now put a cherry on top. That's how good this place is. I've yet to be disappointed by any dish I've ordered here. A lovely environment that has a pleasant hum of ambience without being too loud to talk. The lighting is perfectly balanced between cozy and bright enough to read a menu. Wonderful wait staff. Wonderful food. A truly wonderful place.

I made my own salad it was surprisingly very good! Their spinach pesto vinaigrette is the bomb. I'm excited that Ann Arbor finally has a healthy, convenient option for college students. However, I think it's a bit pricey, especially the additional costs for protein. But it being placed in Ann Arbor and having fresh and quality ingredients makes it more fair. My biggest problem is the service. I've been here twice and both times they were pretty unorganized. Some of them are unfamiliar with the ingredients as well... I had to point out where the kalamata olives and cucumbers were. They also lost track of my order, so when I went to pay they scrambled and tried looking for my order (which they write down while making the salad). I understand that it's a new place with new workers, so hopefully this will get better. Otherwise, I'm excited for Salads Up to make a name for itself among college students here!
