This place is awesome and still somewhat undiscovered - except to Ballardites. Their slow joe pork sandwich is to die for, and their brisket is as good or better than I've had in Texas. Smoked chicken is really good too, but you can only get it after 4:30pm, for some reason. They dry rub all their meats and serve up sauce on the side, so if you are of the saucy persuasion, this will be a different experience. C. Gaffney

The warmth emanating from Chef Unika Noiel’s smile could bake a batch of infused sugar cookies. The Seattle-based Noiel, who has been featured on Viceland’s Bong Appetite and went viral from her BuzzFeed “Stoner Soul Food” recipe, has gained a reputation for her standout cooking for two important reasons: her food nourishes the body and warms the spirit. Noiel, who grew up in the Northwest and graduated from Le Cordon Bleu in 2013, also has a degree in Broadcast Production and Theatre Arts and Drama from Washington State University.

It's always so delicious. Reliable. Not so sure why always empty when I come in but hope it gets busy so it's always here. I wouldnt fuss about service being unfriendly. Maybe patrons should just be a little more grateful for the amazing ingredients and authentic dishes available here. And steps away from the water.

I look forward to Wednesday’s when the Here and There food truck is in Edmonds.
Their menu gives you a nice selection to choose from.
This week I had the Black Bean Sliders with the salad. The sliders have great texture and are flavorful.
I also splurged and tried the Gingersnap cookie dipped in white chocolate. Soft, chewy and delicious!
You shouldn’t miss trying their amazing meals.
