We are a food truck specializing in the smoking with a unique Scandinavian inspired cold smoking process and then cooking of meats to make the best quality burgers, sandwiches, and wraps available. We can cater any sized event up to 300 people and can serve everything from breakfast to dinner. Vegetarian, gluten free, and keto diet options are available upon request. For most of our menu, a full meal is under $15. Our chef loves challenges and is willing to cook almost anything. If you have a special request item, just ask. We may be able to make it for you.

What’s your signature dish?

One of our most popular dishes is a smoked cheesesteak we call the Wasatch Cheesesteak simply because it is too good to be called a “Philly”.
We start with a sirloin roast, smoke it, and slow cook it for about 12-14 hours. That is topped with grilled sweet onions, sweet bell peppers, and a mixture of Jarlsburg and Mozzarella cheeses. They then are placed on a garlic and olive oil grilled hoagie bun.

How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?

Almost everyone’s first concern is price. We take the target budget, then find out what a person wants to serve. We can almost always come to a happy middle that gives a client the best options that meet their demands. As a small - family owned business, we are more flexible than larger or national businesses because we can add items to our menu.

What do you love most about your job?

There is nothing more rewarding than hearing that our food was perfect or hearing “That was the best ...” We have customers who come to every event just so they can get their favorite. The thing I love most, is watching someone take a bite of food, see them stop eating, hear a happy groan, and then watch their eyes roll back just before they close. That is pure food bliss.

What inspired you to start your own business?

We started running our food truck because of our oldest son. He has Aspergers, which is a high functioning version of Autism. At 11, he was unable to communicate with people effectively. He studdered, would not look people in the eye, and would mumble much of what he said. 4 years later, he can communicate clearly and maintain eye contact. We continue because our kids won’t let us quit. We do this for them.
