Very well-appointed new location downtown. Chic and modern design, an eclectic assortment of lunch and dinner items on the menu, and friendly staff. It was opening day for the downtown location today, so there were some understandable glitches as they learn to manage the flow of customers and settle into a routine. That being said, the food items are a bit on the pricey side for this area, and I would love to see a place with ‘bakery’ in the name serve/offer fresh breads, croissants, pastries, etc. It would be nice to sit and have a coffee and croissant or bread instead of solely sweet baked goods such as macaroons and cake. There are numerous places in town to get sweet bakery items. There are zero places in this town to get fresh breads/croissants/pastries and this establishment is missing out on filling that void.

I had a Birthday party for my husband and had Billy make bbq brisket, smoked chicken, potato salad & coleslaw. My goodness it was the best we ever had. Everything thing was gone. My guess went back for seconds and took a plate for when they got home. I will cater again. My husband was very impressed with the food. Thank you Hitch n Post for allowing me to host an outstanding event.
