My husband and I had a fantastic dining experience at Verbena last night. We had the six course chef's tasting menu and were blown away by each and every dish. Their food quality, preparation, presentation, and freshness of ingredients are of the highest standards. Everything was so delicious you want to lick the plate! Our server, Carol, was so sweet and attentive. The chef/owner, Scott, is awesome! He came out to the dining room at the end of the meal and was so personable. We had a great chat which was a lovely way to end the best meal out we can remember. If you are anywhere near Verbena - don't miss it! Call for a reservation well in advance since it is on the smaller side.

Stunning property, conveniently tucked away behind Longwood Gardens in Chester County! We recently stayed for several days and had the most relaxing and enjoyable time. The newly renovated haybarn is open 24 hours to enjoy coffee, soda, water and snacks and hosts breakfast every morning. The food was excellent! We enjoyed the gorgeous tennis courts and pool. The rooms are clean and incredibly comfortable. We will absolutely be back and can't recommend them enough. Thank you to Sandy, Lance and Samantha for all their hospitality!

For me the most wonderful feature of this restaurant/café is the staff: they are the friendliest bunch I have ever experienced in their business. And only enhanced by the high quality of offerings, including pastry chef Claire's so many, many goodies. You should see the wedding cakes she makes. If you are in Kennett Square, don't miss the chance to stop in. You'll be delighted you did so.

Ok, so I'm going to be in the Bay for 25 nights.  Would I rather stay at the Waldorf?  Hell yes!  However, Uncle Sam ain't tryin to foot that bill.  Therefore, I'm at the Hilton Garden Inn.  And I must say, its not that bad.  The rooms are clean and well maintained.  The "sleep number bed" is on point.  All of the King rooms are equipped with them.  The rooms are a decent size with full-sized bathrooms.  The hotel has a pretty good restaurant.  They offer a breakfast buffet every morning which includes, made to order omelettes, make your own Belgian waffles, fruit, french toast, pancakes, bacon and some other stuff.The staff is friendly, although I did request a king sized bed on a high floor about 3 weeks ago.  I also asked for a view of the bay. I was given a double on a low floor with a view of the parking lot. When I asked to change I was told that all of the rooms were full.  Which I knew was BS b/c half of our group hadn't even checked in yet.I thought that my Hilton Reward points would get me a little pull but I was mistaken....

Firebird roll was excellent! Liberty Market very cool place to dine.

OMG!!! They have the best milkshakes in Kennett!!! Even closed the made my son his favorite!
