Nana's is wonderful! I was holding a corporate event in Philadelphia on June 16th at a location that did not offer kosher options. I contacted Nana's the day prior and easily arranged to pick up a Mediterranean tray by 3:30pm on the afternoon of my work event. When I first walked in, I was first struck with such a yummy smell! When I left, I really had to hold myself back from stealing some of the food on the way to the work event. Our folks who keep kosher had nothing but wonderful things to say about Nana's food. Also, Gladys is wonderful to work with - thank you Nana's (and Gladys)!

Bernice, Olivia and the whole staff were amazingly accommodating and fit well within our budget with tons of amazing food! Looking forward to working with Feastivities again!

Delicious food.....home made pastas and desserts. Everything is made fresh and to order. Complimentary wine (red or white) and a delicious after dinner digestif. The bread and bruschetta are out of this world! Pino and Franco are wonderful hosts. I’m so glad they are back.

Just attended my cousins wedding. Couldn't wait to ask her who she used to do the catering. The food was the best I have had at such a big event. My fiancee and I got their business card and with be calling them for our wedding in 2014.

My favorite location for delicious Persian food. Excellent spot to spend time alone or talk business. Looking forward to returning with my friends.

A solid sports bar or hang out place in Manayunk.  3 floors, good beer specials, and usually a good crowd make this a reliably fun spot.They also have good bar-food type apps... if you're hungry try their pizza.  These "personal" pizzas are on a thick yummy crust and about the size of my backyard!Be warned though - there are TWO steps at the bottom of the stairs leading to the bathroom, and there is probably a line for the bathroom behind you that you can't see when you come down the stairs.  So don't do what I did: trip over the second step in front of everyone, try to escape embarassed into the bathroom, then be told that there is a 3-deep line for the bathroom that you are attempting to cut.  Because then you have to stand there in line for 10 minutes with everyone pretending to watch the game while your face turns tomato-red.  NOT my most shining moment.

These ladies make some wonderful meals, WONDERFUL MEALS! All too often, cooks are either too heavy-handed with the seasoning, requiring you to drink two glasses of milk to wash the flames out of your mouth, so bland that the food tastes like it was soaked in water for a week, or so greasy that it clogs your taste buds, or slides down your throat before you can taste it. That is definitely not the case with Soul Food Meals Catering. They catered an event at last year's National R&B Music Society at the Doubletree near the airport in Philly, where music icons such as Russell Tompkins Jr., Little Anthony, Blue Magic, Vaughn Harper, Skip Mahoany, Michael Henderson, Jean Carn, Norman Connors, Bobby Eli, Black Ivory & a host of others, enjoyed their wonderful & very soulful cuisine. And they have 2 punches that'll knock you off your seat. One is non-alcoholic & is tasty & the one containing alcohol is strong enough to put a available smile on your lips, but not so strong as to stop you from being able to function. On Fathers Day, they brought along a few pans of their macaroni & cheese, geen beans, collard greens & candied yams, to name a few. Now me, I'm very finicky when it comes to food & admittedly, I'm not the easiest to please. And there are 3 foods that have to be on-point for me. If you call yourself a Soul Food business, your candied yams, macaroni & cheese & collard green game MUST BE ON POINT! These ladies have their Soul Food game on lock, but I have to admit that I do have one problem with them & their food & it's that they don't have a restaurant here in Brooklyn where I live!
