Josh - Graduated from Johnson and Wales University in 2007 with an Associates degree in Culinary Arts and Bachelor's degree in Restaurant Management. After working for Danny Meyer at Shake Shack and for Marc Murphy at Landmarc Time Warner Center, Josh joined the family business in 2009 leading the kitchen at Mara's Homemade. In 2011 Mara’s Homemade moved to Syosset, NY where Josh excelled at created a diverse and eclectic menu as well as building out an extensive bar full of craft spirits and cocktails. Josh ran Mara’s until it’s closure in 2022 where he then went to Total Wine & More to enhance his spirits knowledge and began teaching classes on spirits on the side. Mariana - Graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in 2021 with an Associates degree in Culinary Arts. After working for Danny Meyer at Gramercy Tavern and Ci Siamo; Mariana’s specialties in Italian and French cuisines are unmatched, as well as her exemplary wine pairing abilities. Mariana and Josh met at Total Wine & More where she can be found helping people find the perfect bottle for their taste and needs. Jamie - Graduated from Johnson & Wales University in 2011 with an Associates in Baking and Pastry and a Bachelors in Foodservice Management. She also is certified in Hospitality and Tourism from NYU. She started working in restaurants and managing a custard shop until she found herself in the liquor industry. She now bartends privately, sells a vast variety of spirits and beer, and enjoys the science of mixology.

What’s your signature dish?

We all have so many delicious dishes, it's hard to pick just one.

How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?

I figure out what they like, if they have any dietary or allergy issues, and create a taste profile to then find the perfect pairing for them.

What do you love most about your job?

Josh: "The smile on people's faces when I see them enjoying my creation."
Mariana: "The ability to show an infinite combination of astounding flavors with the world."
Jamie: "I enjoy the aspect of teaching people and bringing my passion to life."

What inspired you to start your own business?

Josh: "After spending my life in a stationary place, the excitement of constantly changing where I am and what I'm doing while still doing what I love, inspired me to take my passion in a new direction."
Mariana: "The ability to take the flavors and restaurant quality specialties and bring them straight to your home. Giving every person the chance to sit at the "Chef's Table.""
Jamie: "I wanted to branch out of the daily routine and inspire people to love what they eat and drink while also making hospitality a fun environment."
