I was in town visiting my parents and wanted to go out to celebrate my brother's birthday with a nice cocktail. Â Unfortunately, after growing up in Elmira some time ago, I didn't think it was possible to find a nice, relaxed place to grab a good cosmo. Â I asked a few friends and was recommended to try this place out and I'm glad I did. Â Beyond their full-stocked bar with traditional favorites, they also serve from local distilleries and breweries. Â The owners are the bartenders and they are as friendly as can be. Â The prices may be about $1 more than you'd expect in Elmira, but they are tasty and quite potent. Â It's definitely worth the trip to check this place out on Lake Road.

Rooms totally remodeled and redone. Very nice!! No longer the old down-and-out style as mentioned in 2008 review. Â The staff has always been great and now the rooms are too! Â Breakfast credit of $10 for order off the menu is also a nice change from typical hotel free breakfasts. Â I will definitely stay here whenever I am in the area.
