Usually in front of Mineola Court house, this hometown trucks is serving up some the classic burgers with a nice update. The standouts are the queens gobble turkey burger and the Brooklyn bbq burgers.The queens gobble burger was amazing well seasoned and had a generous amount of Swiss melted over it. The mango salsa is good for cutting through it and the addition of the potato chis is great to give you a bit of crunch in each bite part of what makes this amazing burger. The Brooklyn burger is there take on the BBQ burger and it was  awesome. Both of the burgers were cooked perfectly making sure they were juicy and not over cooked so fear not.  I was told there are usually an amazing salmon burger. If you are just coming off the train and need a snack that would be my go to.

The owners of Mel’s Roadside Food Truck owned and operated restaurants before. Now they are owners of a food truck fully equipped; it’s like a restaurant on wheels without the table and chairs to sit but you can sit in your vehicle in the parking lot and enjoy a flavorful delicious meal as you day dream on what next to try.
People service and quality is very passionate to them. The food they prepare is fresh and full of flavor, you will not be disappointed. The Jerk Chicken is moist and full of flavor, the escovitched Tilapia is out of this world.
They bring to you, a combination of the Caribbean and American Flavors. With an explosion of the two flavors I guarantee you will be back for more. The food, the service, the vibe... everything here is nothing short of phenomenal. The atmosphere is intimate and relaxing .Every item on our menu is equally delicious.
The love towards people, great service and excellent quality gives them that drive to serve their customers even better because to them happy customers means more than a million dollars in the bank.
