The Saucy Sow was the best find i've had in throwing large parties. Having worked on a college campus for 4 years now, I've seen quite a few big events and none have been as successful as our most recent one. Most of that was thanks to The Saucy Sow. It was completely "no muss, no fuss" with this crew. They did our event for 300 students with ease and professionalism. They even handled some dietary needs with complete grace! Not to mention the food was outstanding! My colleagues have already been scheming to see how we could get them back ASAP. Thanks Caleb and Amber!

So, I have stopped by this little creperie now about four or five times. If you want a real, authentic, the-real-McCoy kind of experience, this is it: there is a fine list of savory crepes and an exquisite list of sweet dessert crepes. I only know of one other place in the US that I have had such lovely crepes: Frjtz in San Francisco. Of course, you could travel all the way to Belgium or France to experience such authenticity, but trust me...these are the fast, good, old-fashioned, delicious crepes that your Aunt Giselle used to talk about. It is a small place, so eating inside may be a bit crowded. Even if there are only two more people in the place with you, you may have to lean forward at your table so that someone can pass by on the way to the miniscule kitchen area. Suggestion: Take it to go! Enjoy a luxurious crepe on the Nicollet Mall and let others salivate as they watch you!

Fan of the new decor? Absolutely. So much nicer than the former Hubert's decor.I didn't even know this place had changed hands until a friend suggested we have lunch here. We must have been there for their inaugural lunch. Host greeted us and seated us at a high top. Food:I ordered the BLT - some of the thickest and chewiest bacon I have encountered. The thickness was good, but I must have gotten a really grisly piece. The sandwich overall was pretty good. The bread was amazing. I chose the smashed roots. Parsnips, turnips, something like that. I initially liked it and then there was a strange spice that seemed a little out of place for my taste buds, but it was okay.My friend ordered the pulled pork sandwich which she said was good. A little dry, but good. And she had a side of smoked Mac n cheese which looked really good. The different variety of sides is nice instead of always getting fries or chips.Menu is decent. Would like to try their Reuben sliders next.Prices are okay. A little pricey for lunch, but I've paid more and been less satisfied.Good and attentive service. Just the right amount. My only thing was not getting all my change back. Maybe she forgot the actual change?I would return to try some more food. A nice addition to put into the lunch time rotation.

Hey, it's not Hennepin Ave, but the food is good, the prices reasonable and the service terrific. Gig's is working hard trying to bring it back after the previous owners  performed so poorly and let so many folks down. Go - expecting a nice neighborhood bar that serves decent food and that's what you'll find. The Michaelbob's ribs are every good, as is the Chicken Cordon Bleu. Also enjoyed the Shrimp Scampi. For a real sugar high, try the "Skillet Cookie". A fresh chocolate chip cookie baked in a skillet and topped with ice cream and chocolate. One will serve four - extremely rich!Lots of TVs, buses to the Twins, Vikes, Saints and others. It's not fancy, but we found it to our liking.

Potbelly is great. Great food, great malts, great atmosphere - it's one of our family favorites. That is why when I have a less than favorable experience there, I take into consideration that it's normally not like that. Supposedly, Thursday nights at this location, is kid's night. They have big posters on their windows, visible from Main Street, that boasts balloons, live music, face painting and free food for the kids. So we went. When we walked in, there was no live music. There was no face painting happening. And the only balloon we could see was a pink one tied to the basket where they have their cookies for sale, on the counter. As much as we love Potbelly, this false advertising was a complete turnoff from the get go, and we turned around and went somewhere else. We love the sandwiches, no doubt about it, but when we go for an experience like "kid's night", that's what I expect to get.

OpenTable Diner
Unfortunately, the main dining room was closed (a private party was schedule for the next day), so we ended up eating at their tables in the atrium. (We almost left but decided to stay. The food was worth it.) This wasn't too bad except for the occasional "vacuuming" noise heard as the evening crew cleaned the building. We will try at least once more - as the food was very good and the dining room looks very inviting. (We did take a peek at it.)
