Terri and her husband were amazing. Our food was wonderful and their service was above and beyond. They stayed the entire time and re-stocked the food and made sure everything continued to look wonderful. They even helped cut the cake! We had not been here since the expansion so it had been a while. Best dinner, drinks, and service we have had in Lawrence and we eat out at lease 3-4 times a month. Do not pass this place up. Their Kobe and Prime rib Sandwiches are to die for. Prices a little cheaper than Downtown Lawrence but the quality is way better. We have a new favorite restaurant in Lawrence.

Maceli's was both our venue and caterer for our wedding reception in October and they were amazing to work with. The ballroom is spacious and beautiful - perfect for larger weddings and dancing. Maceli's also has a smaller room, the Bistro, which we were able to use for our rehearsal dinner. The food was incredible and our guests raved about it! As far as planning went, Jesse was our go-to at Maceli's and he was the best - so incredibly nice, organized, and helpful! Jesse walked through every last detail with us and bent over backwards so that Maceli's would fit our budget and vision. Our wedding was originally supposed to be in 2020, but when Covid-19 became a concern, Jesse kept us informed regarding gathering restrictions and safety precautions and helped us as we rescheduled our wedding twice. We have nothing but wonderful things to say about our experience with Maceli's and we are so glad we chose them for our wedding reception!
