My favorite South Bend eatery. There are always traditional items such as steaks on the menu, but there are also always a choice  that is unusual for the adventursome eater ( venison, ostrich, pheasant)   and the pairings are always interesting.   The Brandy Alexander is amazing for dessert or after a show treat. Best creme brulee anywhere.  Atmosphere is citified, with changing art on the walls. It can be noisy when busy.

It's difficult not to eat here every day. The pretzels are warm, perfectly salted and soft and chewy and buttery. Reasonably priced as well.

Ironhand is such a great place! The staff is wonderful, the food is great, they have specials weekly, the wine is good, their beer list is growing, the building is so cool. I just love it for couples or girls night💕

I always eat here every time I am in the area. It is easily my favorite restaurant ever! They always have interesting food combinations, and they have great vegetarian and vegan options. The desserts (especially the cheesecakes) are out if this world good too!

Just tried their Hipster Salad, because I'm trying to be cool. Turns out, it's delicious. (And I totally am a little bit trendier than I was earlier today.)

Have been coming here since early 1950’s. Still find it fascinating Best breakfast.

New Years Eve...stopped in for some beers and dinner with a group of people...awesome chicken wings, I had the Hot Buffalo and Sweet & Spicy (Loved them)...make sure you order the Sweet & Spicy. Beer Buckets on Saturdays...6 domestic bottles for $12, on ice in a tin bucket!! They have pull tabs and we won big!! Over $1100 between us in less than 10 minutes! Great service, great people, awesome atmosphere and all the food is incredible!

Beautiful old Mansion turned into a restaurant and brewery. Food was excellent and the beer good. Enjoyed walking around looking at the old pictures.
