I want to start off by saying I am not one of those people that look for handouts or free upgrades. I chose this hotel specifically for the indoor pool and hot tub. I booked with a representative on the phone who didnt mention anything about renovations going on and when I got to the hotel no one mentioned anything about the pool being closed. Got to my room and went to go to the pool. The pool was closed so I called the customer service number for Hilton. The lady on the phone patched me over to the front desk which upgraded my room to the king bedroom suite. The king suite has a whirlpool tub which is a good substitute for the nonworking pool area. Overall my experience was pleasant. The lobby is gorgeous. I just hope the spend some money renovating the rooms. The hotel seems almost outdated. But again the staff were great and my experience although at first was ruined got better when they upgraded my room.
