I found Nala’s Kitchen at Celebrate West Hartford. I never eat at events like that because I’m Paleo and it’s not an option. I was so excited to find Nala’s Kitchen and I bought one of each of her meals and they were all excellent! Great flavor. My husband tried mine and then went over to get his own! I love that we now have a Paleo option in town, and people can see that healthy food can also taste amazing!

Over the years, my husband and I have visited Rizzuto’s Restaurant & Bar, West Hartford, CT. It’s where we had our first date and where we had our wedding reception. When the restaurant closed during the pandemic, we were heartbroken and hoped for a re-opening once it was safe! Since reopening, we have been back two times. First, I have to say that the above all, the staff — Lynn (the manager), the waitstaff, and the chefs are always the kindest and go above and beyond to make our dining experience the very best. Our toddler son looks forward to seeing the head chef, in particular, who plays peekaboo with him and brings a huge smile to his face. But, oh my goodness... the food was exceptional. Mind blowing and probably the best meals we have had in years. To this day, we have friends and family who continue to talk about our wedding meal. With a new head chef, however, their new and refreshed menu, new techniques, and ingredients made for an absolutely phenomenal dining experience. We cannot wait to go back and in the meantime, we are so full and grateful that one of our favorite places continues to thrive in West Hartford! Rizzuto’s is better than ever. If you haven’t visited recently, make sure you go in and try the linguine or the salmon with pea pesto. Holy moly. Delicious. We can’t wait to return!

Perfect atmosphere. Highlights are the red lentil stew (a medley of flavors), avocado and hummus sandwich with beet and carrot salad, barbecued tofu, curry. Yum, yum, yum... The chef/owner, Christopher, also makes amazing protein shakes. Sometimes they have beet cake and pure cocoa cupcakes that light, fluffy, scrumptious.The restaurant has a buffet of food ready to serve with many selections. If you order, it takes quite a bit longer, bu the food is made with love.

Great place to grab a bite! Their sandwiches are delicious and made fresh right in front of you. I stop here at least once a week for lunch, and they deliver a quality product time after time. I would HIGHLY recommend it.

We had the calzone and it was delicious. Fresh ingredients and the price was reasonable. Definitely going back.

Decent food and service. Came here for lunch, there was no one seating people for a couple minutes so we had to stand and wait. My mushroom omelet was good but the potatoes were burnt. My wife's chicken & waffles were pretty dry, wouldn't get it again. Best part of the meal were the flaky, warm biscuits you get in the beginning. They come with a maple butter that's fantastic. This place does not stand out from other similar restaurants.

OMG the martinis are delicious and deadly. Okay they make their own brew too, which sadly I have not tried. The food here is really good and the atmosphere is fun. I recommend the Seared Ahi Tuna.  This is a great place to hang out before a concert in Hartford.
