I went to the tap house. Our waiter was friendly and recomended their famous wings. We got 6 for an app. While we were waiting for them to arrive we were suprised at the size and variety on the menu. My wife got an oriental salad and i got delicious fajitas. My son got a burger my daughter got some sort of vegetarian wrap. We were all happy with our food which arrived quickly in spite of the fact that the place was packed with people watching the games on what must of been over 40 tvs. I would absolutely go back to the Tap House, the service and food was good and the price was more than right.

Stopped in for a late breakfast after 9:00 on a Tuesday and was not disappointed! Great service, nice shaded patio seating, huge portions with every bite being delicious! Our boys had whole wheat Chocolate Chip Pancakes which were HUGE! Mom and Dad had the Cambridge Skillet and Sleeping Giant Burrito - which was also HUGE! Portions are generous we ended up taking home half of everything!

Our family eats here at least twice a month. Service and food quality is consistently good and better than most mid priced restaurants in Steamboat. Kids are welcome. Food is good to very good. Wide range of items and price range on the menu, The bar is very popular with locals. Lot's of sports on the televisions in the bar area. Rex's has the best, family friendly, Happy Hour in Steamboat with drink specials and 1/2 priced delicious apps and great pizza before 6pm. It's not the "coolest" place in town (inside the Holiday Inn), but they're all about good food, fair prices and making everyone happy. The owners deserve a round of applause from the locals.
