They did a pop up tonight at Absolution in Torrance. BBQ is my first love. Sadly in California, BBQ is a pale comparison to the joints I can have regularly in Houston. This BBQ can hold its own! First authentic Texas BBQ I've had in California. They even had Beef short rib! Nobody serves those! Filled my plate with a GIANT beef rib, creamed corn and mac n cheese. Heck even the sides were good. Lots of places (even in Texas) will have pretty good meat but insult you with lack luster sides. Hope they open a restaurant or a food truck.

I was looking for a "different" way to throw a surprise birthday for my girl and this fit the bill. Chef Dion met my friends at my house while I took her out for a few hours and by the time we returned he had a full sushi bar set up with delicious rolls made to order. He was flexible, gracious, professional and well worth the price and my gf and her friends were delighted. Thanks Chef D. for helping me make her birthday an outstanding event!

Was just here for a wedding. The venue is right on the water with a great view of the ocean, palos verdes and the beach to the south. The music sounded good, there was never a wait for a drink, and the food was great. Loved the ahi tuna tacos. One thing I didn’t love was that it was really cold in the venue. It was a cold night, though, only about 60 degrees out. Nice staff
