After reading the reviews here I still decided to give the place a spin. Almost everything about it was right. Here's what I found:Positives: The porterhouse (their famous porterhouse, according to the menu) was amazing. It came out perfectly cooked as ordered (med rare) and couldn't have been any more tender. I was blown away by the amazing taste and tenderness of this hunk of meat on my plate. The vegetables were good, but could have used a bit more seasoning. Our server was quite competent, but not without flaws. For the price, I'd say they've got it just about right. Negatives: Some of the staff seemed to be very, very unhappy to be at work. The bartender and resident queen (I'm gay, I can say it) was snotty and downright rude to us. His response to our hello was a set of rolled eyes. We also had to listen to his cell phone ring twice while dining. He seemed to be buddy buddy with the female manager, who took time to point out a server wearing the "wrong shirt" but didn't seem to mind the bartender's phone ringing on the floor. Go figure. Another qualm; dessert. I ordered the Black Forrest cake. I was told the desserts were made in house, but I'm pretty sure this was a pepperide farm chocolate cake with crappy cherries piled on top and drenched with canned whipped cream. Black Forrest cake this was not. The only other minor thing was that our waiter was a bit pushy with the specials. At one point, I told him I'd had a chance to read over the menu online, and didn't need him to read anything else to me. It seems I've written more negative than positive. Make no mistake, aside from the very minor staff issues and the dud dessert, this place was amazing. The steak was worth the trip down. Definitely worth a try.

Amazing place to host events and meetings. Every year that I've traveled here for Beta I have always had a blast and I feel very comfortable. The layout is unique but very simple and easy to navigate. There are maps in case you get lost. This place holds many fond and amazing memories, and will hold more to come.
