I love Mexican/Latin cuisine and for my birthday I wanted to do something extravagant with a Mexican theme yet simple, tasty, and festive. I hired Chef Sonya and right away she went to work, sending a quote promptly, communicated with me every step of the way. The Taco Bar was more than I could have imagine, the food was amazing, beautiful and she was able to make accommodations for our gluten free and vegan guests. Chef Sonya is professional, honest and reliable. I could not be happier. Chef Sonya’s service is definitely one to be sought out. You will thank me later, hire Chef Sonya, she is truly amazing.

We celebrated my husbands birthday here for the first time. Everything was delicious from the sushi roll to the carrot cake. The southern greens and beans were seasoned to perfection and the okra hush puppies were to die for. I am not vegetarian and was pleasantly surprised how well everything taste. We will definitely be back. Service was excellent!

Emma, she is always an outstanding waitress. Emma is fantastic because she is always happy and very accommodating. Â I've never had a bad experience with as my waitress. I would always recommend you ask for Emma as your waitress. Absolutely, the best there is at Trident II. You will not forget your experience.

Granted I'm new to the whole taco-truck tacos deal, I've tasted a few and while those are good (i just don't think about the cleanliness of its preparation) I must say that Boca tacos are phenomenal! Not only am I less worried about the hygiene involved in its preparation, the carne asada is so tasty! Â Prepared to perfection. Â I always have the flour "macho" which is carne asada with a green chile stuffed with cheese. Â I'm salivating just thinking about it as I write this right now. Â After ordering, the waiter brings out 3 to 6 different sauces/salsas specially made by the owners themselves. Â This is hands-down why Boca gets my vote. Â SO delectable. Â The sauces vary depending on what veggies and spices are available but there are a few staples ( pico de gallo, zucchini and tomatillo, classic red). Â My favorite is the sauce with the habanero...YUM! Â You can try them all without feeling awkward since they're all on your table already or stick to one, whatever floats your boat. Â They have quite a selection of tequila and beers that go great with their food. Â I imagine its great for the college crowd too....not to mention Boca is very close to UA campus. Â The decor is cute, themed red and white with old hollywood movie stars and red lipstick kisses everywhere. Â There's inside seating with a TV or two (don't remember how many, but I remember watching sports on it) and also outside patio seating. Â There is convenient private parking lot in the back of the restaurant.

This is a quick order/sit/wait type of place with salads and sandwiches. Â I got a "create your own salad" here. Â It's a pretty good sized salad, and the ingredients were good, but there was barely any chicken in it. Â They could do a lot better for $6.50.If you get a salad get your dressing on the side. Â You'd think a place focused on salad could get salad dressing right but if you don't get it on the side you'll have a salad floating in a bowl of dressing. Â Wait until you see the amount of dressing you get. Â It's just stupid. Â $6.50 is too much for the salad, but hey, I think I'm the one who made profit on this whole dressing deal. Â They will bring you so much dressing it takes barrels and fork lifts to deliver it to your table.

Just left from a wonderful breakfast at Penca. Â The place just looks awesome: Â Rustic, modern, and bright. Â The service was fantastic and the owner was really nice. Â This was only the second day open and they were working out a couple of kinks, but everything was very smooth.I had the Posole, which was very tasty. Â I had never had a turkey based Posole, so it really was a treat. Â I also tried the raisin scone, and it was the best scone ever!I wish Penca the best and I look forward to seeing this place thrive in Downtown Tucson.Note: Â Happy Hour is from 3-6 and a 12oz Modelo Especial is only $2.25.
