As an auditor and then a controller, I had the opportunity to observe a large number of different businesses (different industries, different leadership styles, different sizes and different business models). I decided I wanted to help small business owners and solopreneurs to create structure within their business (and within their role) that would enable them to grow the business while avoiding many of the common pitfalls that can lead to failure. To see the progress and the growth in them as they adapt and grow into the role we create together is truly rewarding!
I bring a different and unique skill set to helping them grow their business. The financial statements tell the story of how business is really going. This is why banks will always ask for financial statements; tax returns and bank statements. It is really hard to make the numbers tell a different story to what is really going on. So when I work with someone we start with their goals, but also understanding where the business is truly at and create a plan to help them see how they will achieve their goals.
I do most of my coaching/consulting remotely using zoom. If someone wants me to be onsite that can certainly be arranged, however unless I am working with a team typically everything that I do with a business owner can be done remotely with the same outcomes.
I moved all my appointments to virtual appointments. As Covid-19 restrictions continue to be lifted and people feel comfortable engaging with each other in a live setting I plan to offer my in-person classes that can help business owners gain clarity around:
1. Their personal gifts that make them a unique business owner
2. How to create time by focusing on productivity challenges within their business and
3. Understanding who their ideal client is and which service(s) they should focus on to maximize their business revenue .. but also their enjoyment of their business.
