Lost my key to my home on a regular Sunday evening. Freaking out, I was lucky enough to call Chiko's locksmith as my attempt for some help. The person who picked up was extremely nice, professional, and understanding. He had his technician sent out, Sam, who was great at the service. Had my top bolt locked and he did not even have to drill to get it unlocked. Definitely recommend these guys for any emergency lock out moments.

Enjoying retirement several thousand miles away to a home that has been in our family for many years was a long standing dream of ours. While thrilled when the time came for final preparations in making it a reality, we had the daunting task of finding a general contractor we could trust to oversee extensive quality work on our historic house before our move. It had the original 1928 plumbing and electrical wiring and, in short, required a major overhaul after years of being rented out. We could not possibly have found a better person for the job than Alex Dean. It does not suffice to share that Alex completed the work on time and within budget, which in itself is exceptional. He was hands on every step of the way, and he treated each and every aspect of the renovation with personal care. Alex appreciated the memories held and he worked closely with us in creating modern style and conveniences, while retaining the traditional qualities of a house we hope will stay in our family for many more years to come. I had Apter remove a bathtub and install a walk-in shower in same place. Apter was very neat while working and totally on schedule that they had given me. I am so pleased with the result. My new shower is safe, attractive and a pleasure to use. They have also been excellent with follow up on any questions or concerns I have had - very few! It was a totally good experience working with Apter!

I recently had a roof installed by R&H Pro Contractors. Jose, the owner, was quick to respond to my emails/texts/calls. He gave me a fair price, not an inflated price like some other company’s door-to-door salespeople offer. He was able to get my house scheduled very quickly. My roof had two previous layers of shingles that needed to be removed before installing the new shingles. Prior to beginning, the workers covered the entire perimeter of my house with tarps to catch any debris. After removing the old shingles, they replaced several pieces of warped or rotting plywood and ensured the sub-roof was structurally sound. The entire job was finished in one day. The dumpster was also removed the same day. The new roof looks great and R&H Pro guarantee their work. Jose was great to work with and went above my expectations. I definitely recommend them.

I think they did a good job for a reasonable price. They told us it would be 3 to 5 weeks and they got it done within that time frame (if you adjust for delays caused by some damaged cabinets that were not their fault/responsibility). The workers were diligent and professional. We used them for a kitchen remodel (demolition of the old kitchen, repair where needed, installation of the new cabinets, new granite counters, moving the location of the kitchen sink, updating the electrical  etc.). We bought the cabinets from a separate provider and picked most of the various elements ourselves.  They tried to clean up and keep the dust to a minimum during the remodel and I think they were as successful as you can be for such a large project. The only thing I would change is the undercabinet lighting they chose and installed but guess what? No one else sees that but us.I think that the workers had a more realistic expectation of the time frame than the project manager did. He would tell us something would be done in a day or a week when it really would be a few days or a couple of weeks. Also, towards the very end of the project we had a few reschedulings (i.e. they had to reschedule or push back days they would be coming). That being said, they did not go over the far end of the timeline they had originally provided and compared to the many awful stories I've heard about contractors they were very good. I was pleased with the ultimate product. Our kitchen looks beautiful. We would use them again.

TLC did a fantastic job on our new house. First, the house is in great shape. The construction is very solid and workmanship is great. TLC worked with us after the sale to make sure everything was as we wanted and that we were happy with our purchase (we are!) They were able to keep the old charm of our historic rowhouse while building in contemporary touches and giving the house a unique character. Thank you!

We are in the midst of major renovations in a home we recently purchased. Baldissera Electric has been amazing. Incredibly responsive. Meticulous attention to detail every step of the way. We have had many chandeliers and various light fixtures hung. We have relocated and added recessed lighting, moved and added electrical outlets and added lighting under our kitchens cabinets which looks amazing. Not only was the work reasonably priced but suggestions were made on what options may be best and it made a world of difference. I would never have thought of the under-cabinet lighting because I was distracted with just getting through the renovation. Best electrical company I've worked with, hands down!
