Big Bossa Plus Nova is a lighthearted Jazz, Bossa Nova and Latin quartet plus a vocalist, perfect for cocktails, dancing, adult gatherings. We are prompt, professional, easy to work with, and affordable. We can work as a vocal group or purely instrumental to fit your needs, and can expand our line up of vibraphone, guitar bass and drums to up to 8 pieces with horns and a percussionist.
30 years experience and expertise, dependability, professionalism, over 200 songs, lots of harmony (5 great vocalists). Besides a 5-piece band, we also have a trio that sounds like a 5-piece with our custom-programmed rhythm section. Our repertoire is mostly Good Time Rock and Roll and Rhythm and Blues from the '60's forward, with a little light jazz on request.
The One-Eyed Kats is a diverse band that plays popular/fun/danceable blues, R&B, funk, and a little R&R music with our own flare. We are a horn-centric band with trumpet, trombone, tenor and bari sax players. We also have a multi-talented harmonica player who also plays percussion, guitar and signs as well. OEK does fairs, weddings, private parties, clubs, corporate events and we come with our our sound equipment or may need to hire out, depending on the size of the venue.
