What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Patience is the greatest gift and the most difficult challenge. Don’t put your camera down and just wait, the perfect moment is destined to come through the lense.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I ask questions about their favorite colors, flowers, sports teams, if they have pets, and really anything to try and get to know them better as a whole. The answers help me understand how to better approach them as subjects in my photographs.
What do you love most about your job?
Getting to know new people is always an exciting part of the job.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted to start my own business because of an awful experience through a chain store. It felt repetitive and cold, it took so long and the end product showed the lack of personalization and care.

I look forward to working with a new client and enjoy being selected as a photographer because it means I get to showcase my talents.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I always make sure to sanitize surfaces, wash/spray each used prop, and wipe down equipment after each client. I allow time between each client meeting for this process as well. I am also willing to wear a protective mask if my client requests me to.
