Jock is absolutely amazing. He did our wedding last weekend and it was everything I could ask for and more! We were so unprepared but he helped me in more ways than just playing music. He gave me many tips and pointers along the way to help me to stay on track but he also made it my day! I couldn’t ask for anyone better. DJ Jock did the entertainment for our wedding (November 2024) and we can’t praise him and DJ SDot ENT enough! Not only did Jock do what he came for, entertainment (and amazingly I might add) but he really did so much more.
Sean and Jock very thoroughly went over our wedding game plan/timeline and made sure we had the vibes we wanted, the names, the information, everything that could possibly come up to assure everything went smooth when the day arrived. Even when our “schedule” went out the door and the chaos set in, Jock stepped up and got the wedding party back on track and even helped delegate the other vendors to put us all on the same page. Which I cannot thank him enough because from his “take over” I was finally able to be at ease and no longer had to do anything but enjoy the night.
I cannot praise these guys enough, really set the tone for more moments to remember forever and was so friendly and personable. With Jock’s extra help it really took the weight off my shoulders and I will forever be grateful!

Not only did he bring the music and lights display, but he also worked with us to determine a schedule for the night so a coordinator was not necessary- Jock did it all! DJ Jock provided excellent music and sound for our wedding which included a mixture of specific tunes that he encouraged us to list for him to line up, as well as a mixture of tunes that he wisely selected by reading the crowd which is a benefit of hiring a real pro! ! Jock went the extra mile providing additional equipment to produce live music from a trio of singing musicians for portions of the ceremony AND reception. Jock's knowledge, his top notch system, and the pro-ears to know how to make that system sound amazing was well appreciated by everyone in attendance. Many people told us that it was the best wedding they've ever attended and Jock is hugely a contributor to that feedback from our people. This was my first time planning a party with a DJ. Jock did an amazing job and was very accommodating. Jock was an outstanding DJ. He was the DJ for our school dance. He was punctual, played music the kids enjoyed that was school appropriate and even taught a new dance. He was interactive, pleasant and fun. He has quite the set up of lights, monitors, fog etc. He even spread lights around our gym to make it look more like a "dance" and less like a school gym! What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
Know your targeted audience before you start playing music. I conduct consultations with my clients to achieve this. However,
DJ must be able to read their audience. I love and and spin all forms of music. When I see that the audience is really enjoying a particular genre of music, I focus in on that genre. If I see that they are loosing interest, I explore other genres until I'm able to pull them back in.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
I love dancing and performing. My DJ style reflects this. I often have to hold myself back from joining in on all the dance floor fun!
What do you love most about your job?
I love watching people have the time of their lives! A DJ is a courier of memories. Meaning, when we do our jobs properly or improperly, we help create life long memories for our clients. Nothing is more gratifying than having a client tell you that you made their event special.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I'm newly retired from 20 years of state services. I did some DJ jobs as a side job for while I was working. Now that I'm retired, I'm want this to be my second career.
Why should our clients choose you?
It's not about me. It's about how my clients envision their event. I will do everything within my ability to make their vision a reality.
