Our mission is to simplify fat loss for women. There is SO much diet culture BS out there - telling women they need to do hours of cardio, cut out sugar, cut out carbs, just eat less and move more...and the list goes on and on.
So many of us get stuck in this yo-yo diet cycle and spend YEARS spinning our wheels and not seeing any results.

Of course I love seeing their fitness transformations, but what is even better is seeing the changes that happen in other areas - getting that promotion at work, realizing their worth and getting out of a toxic relationship.
Seeing my clients become the best versions of themselves is so rewarding!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I struggled on my own health and fitness journey for YEARS.
I thought if I could just eat less and move more, I'd finally see results. I would do my best to eat clean, and cut out all of the bad foods from my diet. That would usually go well Monday - Thursday....
but by the time the weekend rolled around, I would give in to the bad foods I'd been avoiding, and that always turned into a disaster. After I messed up, all bets were off. I'd overindulge all weekend, and feel like absolute crap by the time Monday came around.
I would promise myself to get back on track. I'd restrict my food again and do some extra workouts to burn off the calories. I would search YouTube for 1000 calorie burning HIIT workouts, and do them 6-7 days per week.
I was burning 1000 calories - why didn't I have that lean and toned look I was going for? With all the hard work I was putting in, I should have been in the best shape ever, right?? Maybe I just needed to restrict my food more...
I was STUCK in this cycle for so long, but finally.... I started to SHIFT my mindset and how I thought about exercise and nutrition.
I stopped chasing calories burned and stopped judging my workouts by how sweaty I was. I stopped fearing getting bulky and actually picked up some weights! I started focusing on getting STRONGER! I stopped labeling foods and good and bad, and started focusing on fueling my body.
It didn't happen overnight, but with consistency, I was FINALLY achieving the results I wanted the entire time!
Working in the healthcare field for 10+ years, my why was always to help others. I decided to get certified and start my business so I could help other women who were stuck just like I had been for so long.
I am a firm believer that your health and fitness spills over into every other area of your life. For me, SHIFT Fitness is about so much more than just losing fat and getting toned - it is about changing your life!! I absolutely love what I do and am honored to get to help other women transform their lives!
